  1. I ran into a few snow bowls looking this up. Even a CFL game by that name  OSU/mich game
  2. Yeah, that was something. Wasn't the only TD on a blocked punt? There were 3 TD's. Two by PSU and one by ND. PSU had the extra point blocked on their first TD. Both of PSU's came of off turnovers (Irv Smith fumble, and Mirer int). The game also had one of the most impressive goal line stands I can remember when PSU had the ball 1st and goal on the 1 and ND held them. ? Michigan beat OSU 9-3 oh, I found this just now "Teams routinely punted on first, second and third downs in hopes of winning the field position battle."
  3. Pretty surprising. And chicago is the only one of the 3 that will make the playoffs. Wildcards will be one of NY/dallas (dallas) and TB/carolina.
  4. speaking of the snow bowl, they showed a stat last week that had 45 punts in the game... I simply can't believe that. If the entire game was nothing but 3-outs, that would mean 180 plays. 180 plays on a day where there were almost no passes thrown.
  5. yeah, i'm sold on harris now, he's not just a great hitter but can play a little pass defense too. a steal in the 6th round. that play scared the heck out of me. I had already started my "oh no" scream when he flew in and knocked it away
  6. That's absurd. The circus could field a team that would do better
  7. that seems weird since they only had 2 kickoffs returned for 26 yards total, 3 yards on punt returns, and 68 yards for the int returns. 258 yards passing/rushing, btw
  8. heh I can't believe the lakers gave up that lead. Good job making your free throws.
  9. A lot of players native to the Dominican Republic like to go back there (well, most are there during the off-season, anyways) and play some ball in the late fall or winter. I believe Pedro "How Much Longer Will My Should Hold Up?" Martinez was planning on playing for the Licey Tigers later this winter, as well. A dominican national team named "the tigers"?
  10. what a stupid foul. I hope the freaking circus is worth it
  11. Good luck to the Panters the rest of the way too. We will prob need their help with them knocking some teams off for us. By the way how is a tie breaker for HFA? Is it points allowed? pretty sure its head-to-head then its record in the conference. I mean what if the Bears and Giants tie who has home field advantage throughout? this is according to NFL.com on how to sort a tiebreaker: Two Clubs 1. Head-to-head, if applicable. 2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played within the conference. 3. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games, minimum of four. 4. Strength of victory. 5. Strength of schedule. 6. Best combined ranking among conference teams in points scored and points allowed. 7. Best combined ranking among all teams in points scored and points allowed. 8. Best net points in conference games. 9. Best net points in all games. 10. Best net touchdowns in all games. 11. Coin toss. I wonder if they've ever gone beyond 6 I remember in Week 17 back in the 2000 season, Carolina and New Orleans took it to tiebreaker number 4, so we had to scoreboard-watch while trying to beat the opponent (not sure who it was). NO ended up winning the tiebreaker, but Dallas, who had the tiebreaker on us and the Saints, later won to bring an anticlimactic end to that. A few years ago (I forget when, but maybe 2000) if things had worked out right in the last week green bay would need to have outscored its opponent by 40 points or something to get into the playoffs.

  13. that was a very fun game to watch. Now we're playing for home field. First in the NFC!
  14. foster should probably never throw again.
  15. I did not want to see a pass there.
  16. You're welcome. It's not like we can stop the run or anything so we wouldn't have stopped you anyway. Oh wait... You were doing fine til you added the last clause
  17. that's bizarre. Keep the running going, kick em while they're down,
  18. If someone would catch the ball
  19. Wow, that announcer is absolutely gushing, that's gotta be annoying if you're a panthers fan
  20. orton is looking good, delhomme is looking bad... :D
  21. hahahaha Oh, man, he is just throwing terribly today
  22. Wow, this board got laggy. please don't try to tackle the rb from behind when he's got 2 guys pulling him down, that's just free yardage
  23. YES! that was a really lazy pass. Keep throwing them like that
  24. that actually did happen, though they ended up deleting everything almost immediately after.
