  1. so, holding in the end zone is a safety, you know they won't call it
  2. wow, that ref called holding from out of the back of the end zone
  3. the bucaneers are WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!!!
  4. 4 million more, what an agent! As has been stated ad-nauseum by many, Boras had little room to work with in this negotiation assuming Matsuzaka was never really willing to go back to Japan. The only way Boras was going to get more for his client, is if the threat to walk away was real, and in this unique circumstance, I don't believe it was. Boras wanted us to believe respecting Matsuzaka was about more dollars, but that just isn't the way the Japanese culture measures respect. Yes, stated by people like me. Doesn't change the fact that warren gave him faarrrrrrr too much credit. Any agent who advised him to hold out couold probably have gotten 52.
  5. And the bulls are pummeling another team.
  6. No on the visa thing, you need a passport to use a visa. But yes on passports, which makes it every country in the world, I think. Used to be quite a few places in the Americas you didn't need a passport to come back from. Sad state of affairs.
  7. upside? tools? makeup? It doesn't matter what kind of makeup they wear. especially if it didn't happen yet When did we start talking about Edmonds anyway? From what I recall, you started quite soon after joining NSBB
  8. Oh, they were just too afraid to take the floor against the bulls
  9. I can't but consider that an anti-endorsement. He barely managed a sub-2 WHIP last season. If that's near his ceiling with his age, he needs to be dropped from the 40.

  11. Then according to Chris Carpenter's "past performances", http://www.baseball-reference.com/c/carpech01.shtml he would had continue to be a talented, but crappy pitchers. "Past performances" is not the best predictor, because doesn't take into account different variables. It's a definition. You cannot predict by things that have not happened yet. I think what you mean is that there are things beyond stats that can be used to predict, but those are most assuredly still past performance. There is quite literally nothing aside from past performance and wholely irrational beliefs that can be used to predict future performance upside? tools? makeup? what do your base them on? your crazy imagination, or his past performance?

  13. wow, rex... you've... changed (their interview with Rex is actually with Tank)
  14. shouldn't you be hammered, trying to pick up girls?
  15. when I hear "rex grossman heard how to break out of it from a friend of a friend of a friend of his wife" I'm thinking "slumpbuster"
  16. is that sarcasm? He hit the hell out of his head. This has been the most favorably called game for the bears in several weeks, I don't know why people are complaining aside from habit
  17. that;s offensive pass interference
  18. He didn't want to give hester a return and forgot about the squibb
  19. ice the kicker, lovie, this always works well
  20. hillariously bad call to keep the clock running
  21. according to espn, palmer and manning are both averaging more than 60 completions per pass attempt. Clearly gods among men
