    I'm not very familiar with the Pirates other than they're from Pittsburgh. Who's the ownership group for the team? To me, Pitt seems like a great fan base. Has ownership done anything recently to show interest in winning? I can't remember a competitive Pirate team since the early 90's, correct? bonds leaving was the beginning of the end for them. The population and economy of the region is shrinking and has been for some time now. The new stadium is probably the only reason they're still in pitt.
