    Personally, if China doesn't cooperate, I could see both the IOC and the IGF invalidate's China's Gold in Women Gymnastic. In terms the gold the China would have won in the gymnastic all it would amount to is being a (expensive) paperweight. And isn't that what athletes dream about? Not necessarily winning the gold medal, but that medal validating (and acknowledge by the IGF and IOC) the fact that you are the best in your sport. What's the point of winning the gold medal, if people don't recognize you as a "Gold medalist?" China will cooperate. It will print up shiny new documents for this child, showing her to be 16 years and change. They'll lie, but it's not like there's any applicable law to punish them or superior organization to show age.

    Yes, that is easily the dumbest thing I've ever seen Neyer write. I had to read it twice and then check to make sure he wasn't projecting full season stats to believe he actually wrote it. that's awful from a generally smart guy

    Maybe I'm wrong, or out of date but I do not think a slider can be 12-6 by definition. Well, if you were throwing sidearm, it could be done.

    Or at least make it to where a Brewers fan would actually want to buy it. It's supposed to be a Brewers shirt, yet Brewers colors are missing, and any words such as "Milwaukee" or "Brewers" are also vacant. Who would want to buy a shirt not in team colors that says "Untuckem" on it? He probably doesn't want to be sued.

    That weightlifter had my favorite reaction to winning. Also, do people really like interviews with people emotionally destroyed by blowing an Olympic medal in the past 10 minutes? That's appalling. And then they chased that hurdler down inside to film her crying last night. I'm a misanthrope, but this leaves me slightly incredulous.

    LOUD NOISES Yeah but did Holtzman get an ND in his no hitter? Harden will go 9 no hit innings and pick up an ND or an L You can't get a ND and a no hitter, it has to be every inning of the game, no matter how long.

    16 year olds are not underaged in about a third of the country, and a year from being of age in almost all of it and almost all of the world. Now, 16 year old gymnasts? They look like 12 year olds on steroids. Being attracted to them isn't creepy because of their age, but because they appear to be children.
