  1. Always remember: You root for the Cubs. that is not different than being a fan of any other team as far as this season So you don't think there is any added pressure when you play for the Cubs? You don't think the fact that the crowd is booing 5 innings into game 1 of the playoffs after a 97 win season makes anything different? I'm guessing just about any fans in baseball would be booing their team under the same circumstances. I really don't believe that one. There's no way fans of any other team in this year's playoffs are booing yet. If the Mets had backed into the playoffs, their fans might, but that's it. People (including people at this board) were just waiting for a reason to get pissed off and now we have it. Philly had fans booing with a 2 run lead and 2 outs in the 9th today
  2. "where's the bat? you've got to have a bat to play pepper"
  3. And now the announcing team tells us that "Sean Marshall has a real good chance to be a good hitter"
  4. The only real hit of the game off dempster, too.
  5. Ryan Dempster and Lou Piniella, you are ridiculous!
  6. Loney doesn't look very bright, swinging at all these balls
  7. Why haven't they mentioned anything about the bullpen warming up?
  8. "Ryan Dempster has been in command, to say the least" He cannot be this bad at his job. It's not possible.
  9. Yeah, lowe, pay close attention to the guy at first with the muscle strain in his leg
  10. Pretty sure they combined for exactly a couple last postseason
  11. Ok, so the strike zone seems to be an quadrangle with one corner in the lower left hand side (going slightly low and slightly off the plate) to low-right (higher than the strike zone and maybe a touch inside the plate) and then fairly square corners at the top of the zone. Sometimes.
