  1. I liked Dempster's reaction from the bench "[expletive] yeah, Starlin!"
  2. So... what are the alternatives?
  3. That's probably correct. I'm guessing they were not what Bayless thought they were. Also (not that I didn't think Bush would be better, and yes, I know that he has had knee surgery, although probably not what Skip was thinking of)
  4. And hopefully this 1 doesn't die Eh...at least if this one dies we didn't lose a draft pick for him. I'm a terrible human. But certainly not the only one.
  5. 2 games in a row that we've been on the blown call end of close plays at first to complete a DP
  6. Soto left second around the time the throw from right was crossing first base
  7. The organist just played part of "Jesus Christ Superstar"
  8. It wouldn't even be there on an HD broadcast, would it?
  9. I was really not expecting that to be a real "RIP"
  10. Nice throws to get Fielder. Castro managed a strike from left field.
  11. Once a season against us in a game in Milwaukee Prince will crush a ball that has to be a homer that will be caught on the warning track. I don't get it, but it keeps happening.
  12. Just reading this post made me ill. Really wish I hadn't watched the replay.
  13. But he HUSTLED and looked like he was TRYING Indeed.
  14. Weeks just screwed up his leg beating out an infield single. Looks bad for his ankle. Carried off the field, not putting any weight on it.
  15. Looks like Pitchf/x has 11 clear balls by Brewers pitches called strikes while the Cubs had maybe 2. IOW, over 20% of their balls shown there were called strikes.
  16. It doesn't look like he tried to. It looks like he dodged it.
  17. Yeah, it's even worse than a normal bases loaded no outs.
  18. Dempster caught a line drive about 4" from his face.
  19. I've never seen a runner stroll back to first on a pickoff attempt like Castro just did.
  20. That might have taken Ramirez's July OPS over 1.200 edit: forgot about his 1-9 in the last two games
  21. So... Quade was lying about Marmol being the closer again?
