To practice coverage. that sounds insane. It makes sense though. They get less practice time now after the new CBA, and it's a short offseason already. The practice time that they do get is mostly spent on offense and defense, not ST. So use preseason games to practice. And touchbacks are no help in determining anything. I actually thought it was a pretty slick idea. I'm not worried about Gould kicking so many touchbacks they don't get adequate practice. I'd rather they get real game-type practice. And if people forgot, this should remind them that Taylor is, maybe, the 4th best RB on the team. I only caught one, but he really beat his man on it and grabbed the QB in what should have been the pocket.
