  1. 141/180. I was disappointed that I forgot a lot of the 2001 squad. I actually did better on the 1990-1998 (I was born in '88) than I did on the 1999-2002 teams. That's what collecting cards will do for you. I forgot Scott Servais! I don't believe it. I even got Mike Bielecki and Damon Berryhill.
  2. for real Yeah, strike 2 to Stairs was WAY outside.
  3. This is a fun game. I want to go to bed for my 8:00 am class, but I hate to go to bed with this game still on.
  4. I have to admit, with Carpernter an Wainwright as the 1-2 and Pujols/Holliday/Ludwick in middle, I thought they had a great chance to do some serious damage in the postseason. I also think they will be a lesser team at the start of 2010. Holliday and DeRo will leave, and Franklin won't repeat his 2009 performance. They'd likely still be a "lesser" team even if they did resign DeRosa, given that he was not all that good for them this year, he's old and he has wrist issues. DeRosa doesn't even need to enter the equation for discussions along these lines. Hopefully the Myth of Mark DeRosa will finally begin it's long-deserved death. I would rather the Cardinals shelled a bunch of years and dollars toward him first.
  5. True. Did you also realize the NL West is now 13-1 in their last 14 NLDS games (2007-2009) after going 1-6 in the 2006 NLDS?
  6. Haha. I can actually agree with that.
  7. I will always remember the Soriano walkoff granny. It was my first Cubs walkoff in person, despite being to many games.
  8. why though!? there comes a time when you just have to drop the hatred and realize that an organization has done a good job this decade... recognize that they are a group of quality ball players, and root for them because they deserve to be in the position they are currently So do you root for the Yankees as well?
  9. Honestly, I'm more ticked at the offense, but that's just me. What, turning the ball over and dropping TD's is bad? And letting the guys on the other team count 1 Mississippi and then letting them get a free shot at your QB.
  10. is he on your fantasy team? No I get points when guys on the team Im playing score sounds like a weird way to play. that would suck to have peterson then. I would put him on the bench every week.

  13. Nothing like general posts about a fanbase. What words are they eating? That Aaron Rodgers is still better than Favre? I'm trying to figure it out too. Yeah, because Rodgers has an awesome O-line and the best RB in the NFL... Not to mention, Favre won't be playing in 5 years or so while Rodgers may very well be picking apart the Vikings for years to come.

  15. His only weakness is his feet. The elite QBs, ie Manning and Brady, can avoid sacks by getting rid of the ball and moving within the pocket. He gets sacked too much. His arm is certainly there, though. Rodgers is good on his feet. He gets sacked a lot because he gets hurried a lot.
  16. This isn't fun to watch. If there is a football version of the 2009 Cubs, this might be it. The O-line would be the Cubs offense.
  17. That's the third time the Packers have had the ball in field goal range and haven't scored.
  18. I am tired of dropped passes. Rodgers is playing awesome. This team is getting very old, quickly.
  19. Agreed. The team is, not Favre.
  20. As a Cubs/Packers fan, the whole DeRosa and Favre thing doesn't help either. DeRosa's not very good. You're better than that. Well neither is Favre. It's about players you like winning on your rival against you. Nothing about how good they are.
  21. As a Cubs/Packers fan, the whole DeRosa and Favre thing doesn't help either. Do packer fans really feel like that? I thought they wanted him gone? But watching him win as a Viking?
  22. I think we are seeing a better QB (Rodgers) losing to a better team (Vikings).
