I agree. Keith Law said on The Herd today the reason they will not do this is because MLB thinks the logistics in pulling off the WS would be too complicated by changing the dates. Also, he said this is the only reason they don't make the best record the decider for home-field in the WS. I think it's a weak argument.
I think somebody on here posted that Duncan makes $800,000 with the Cardinals and that's the most amongst coaches (non-managers) in MLB. Also, I think Jaramillo used to be second on that list and now has taken over first, at least for now.
It would be nice if the Yankees would lose one of these close games. Also, I'm tired of the playoff commercials. Black-eyed Peas and those stupid Blackberry commercials are getting really old.
For some reason (probably because I was young and ignorant) Kevin Orie, Steve Buechele and Frank Castillo were some of my favorite players. I think Castillo was just because he was 1 out away from a no-no against STL.
I DON'T BELIEVE WHAT I JUST SAW!! I DON'T BELIEVE WHAT I JUST SAW!! That was Jack Buck. Scully and Buck both called that HR. Vin Scully's call was very similar to Chip's call.
