I dont see the hate for it. Maybe for nostalgic sakes but I think Wrigley has enough nostalgia between being around 100 years, the Marquee, the Scoreboard, the brick wall, the Ivy, the neighborhood, and just going to the stadium and thinking wow Babe Ruth played here, Ernie Banks, Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Lou Gehrig, Stan Musial, Sandy Koufax, etc. I dont see what the Jumbotron does that bothers people accept maybe lose a bit of the view of the skyline outside Wrigley. I've been to ballparks around the whole country and yeah they yell for fans to make noise and bs like that but its never came to the point that it annoyed me or got in the way of me watching the game. Its not like I'm watching the jumbotron while the ball is being pitched, its for in between innings or plays. Plus most importantly, added revenue. PnL is king.
