    Lost in the barrage of singles for Castro, he only has two extra base hits so far. Hasn't really been driving anything. Granted if he's going to .330 it doesn't really matter.

    Bring Arietta back out for the 8th with someone up in case he gets into trouble? It would be nice to only have the pen go 1 inning tonight.

    My only complaint so far is pulling Hendricks after 81 pitches. Pulling him early led to this exhausted bullpen the Cubs now have.

    When you watch Schlitter do it over and over, expecting something else today is in fact stupid. do what over and over? he's very much a ground ball pitcher. Well the 2 HRs in 3 1/3IP coming into today for one.

    It could have affected things, though. The point was valid, he didn't harp on it, just mentioned something that didn't happen on camera. The meatballs don't need extra fuel. It's already intolerable listening to most fans of both the Cubs and other teams talk about Castro. What's even worse is other teams are now applying the same labels to Baez.
