  1. I just don't get it, Nico is literally under it not moving and gets called off.
  2. Paredes not exactly endearing himself to Cub fans.
  3. Paredes comes to the Cubs with a 15.9K%, gets to the Cubs and strikes out a lot.
  4. Because the WSox keep finding ways to fall deeper and deeper into the abyss, Luis Robert has completely fallen apart as a hitter. His season K% now sits at 36.6 and is climbing. Since July 15th, 13 games, Robert has a 52.8 K% and a 34 wRC+. Just this last offseason the WSox could have could a huge farm altering package, now I'd be pissed if they did PCA straight up.
  5. Well through 3 games he's more or less the same guy he was here. He's 2/13, those 2 hits just happen to be HRs.
  6. #18, they're 5 games from tying the single season record
  7. Yes, how could we possibly question the same IOC who is letting a child rapist participate and various repeat doping offenders.
  8. Indeed, but he has done it all game, so maybe stop nibbling on everything
  9. Holy horsefeathers was that inning pathetic
  10. Throwing strikes apparently too hard for major league pitchers
  11. Fedde had like 65 pitches through 2, now he's likely to get through at least 5.
  12. Comparatively, Shota had 19 in 91 pitches yesterday.
  13. For sure, but it also means you probably need to go get a starter in FA. You can't rely on all of Steele/Shota/Taillon/Brown/Wicks to stay healthy, especially the later two.
  14. Frankly his peripherals kind of suck and he relies on some type of outlier ability to strand runners at a consistent 85% rate which is like 10% over what most pitchers do.
  15. 4. He's also only made it 6 innings 4 times.
  16. Limited damage, but Assad should not see the 4th inning and he should by no means be guaranteed a rotation spot in 2025.
  17. Walker's value has plummeted. He'd be lucky to be a 2nd piece in a trade. He's not sporting a 77 wRC+ in AAA.
  18. The consistent 100+mph contact he's making, is just tremendously exciting for 2025.
  19. So Bethancourt was the catcher the Cubs needed all this time?
