  1. I'm finding myself quite attracted to the women in the white tanktop to the right behind the plate. Especially when she leans forward to get her beer.
  2. Four short at bats thus far. Lets make him throw some pitches
  3. IP H R ER BB SO HR ERA Hill, R 3.0 1 1 0 1 6 0 0.00
  4. Listening to Hill pitch on the internet right now. Passing the time until the game starts.
  5. Blah Blah Blah. Please learn to write in paragraphs and complete sentences. It might make me want to read what your post. By the way simple math tells me that '82 is actually 24 years EARLIER than '06 not 74 years later. There's no need for that type of condescension. Also, he's comparing to the Cubs. 82 - 08 = 74 Sorry being stuck in the office has me on edge, won't happen again.

  7. I've heard the White Sox are interested. If they land him and Duchscherer can stay hot then watch out. I've got to think that landing Duchscherer would require a lot of talent at this point though.
  8. I'm suffering from Cubs withdrawl, and stuck at the office. Lets get a big win tonight and start the second half off right. Lilly's propensity for giving up the big fly worries me. But we have hit really well against Moehler. Cubs Win 8-3. Brenly finally gets to see Kosuke go oppo. Lilly gives up 2 HR's. A 2R to Lee, and a solo to Pence.
  9. I'm hoping that this means the return of Harold Reynolds to TV. Baseball Tonight really started to go in the crapper after he got fired, and Gammons had his health problems. I'm pretty excited about all these competing cable networks with ESPN though. Hopefully the new network can see beyond the AL East.
  10. Awesome news. This way he will have a series under his belt before our showdown with the Brewers. Glad he is taking the Rehab Stint too.
  11. He's the best Jewish athlete since Bill Goldberg. Jason Marquis: *Raises his hand in disagreement*
  12. I really can't stand the Hebrew Hammer. His cheap contract keeping him in Milwaukee only fuels my dislike for the man.
  13. I think that one of two things will happen to Brett, both of which will end up with him not playing next year. 1. The Packers activate him and keep him on the roster, where he will not see the field. 2. The Packers trade him to one of the Siberia's of the NFL. There is no way that Brett will be a backup and there is no way he will play for a crappy team. His ego is too big. That said Thompson is a boob for forcing him out, Favre could get the Packers to the Super Bowl this year, whereas I don't think the same that can be said of a team led by A-Rod. I think TT made a huge mistake because in the NFL your window isn't long, and GB could be in the SB this year if Brett was playing. You have to go for it when you have the parts, much like in baseball because you never know when the window will close.
  14. It makes me laugh :-) As a Packers fan and owner, this makes me puke. Welcome to the board! Thanks! Glad to be here
  15. This is all pretty much in line with what has been said already, but it is my two cents. 1. I'd like to see the Cub's get another arm in the bullpen. That is the part of this team that can fall apart the quickest even though it has been pretty solid up to this point. Not getting an insurance plan for Marmol could be the achilles heel for the Cubs. I think Gaudin was a big step in the right direction in this respect though. Getting another quality bullpen arm will also keep a quality bullpen arm away from Milwaukee. 2. Get Alfonso going again, his addition to the offense can provide the boost we need to get through the dog days without losing ground. 3. Don't ride Harden too much, he is way to valuable come October to have him suffer an injury before then.
