  1. Thanks, that's weird that one of my games called it that. I guess it was incorrect at the time.
  2. Sandy Alomar is still playing? How old must he be, pushing the old guy from the Braves, can't remember his name. Stinking Repko just hit a bomb!
  3. At least he isn't on 20 pitches through two innings thus far. Too bad it seems Marshall doesn't want him to be alone with a lot of pitches.
  4. Good at-bat by Jones, making the pither work hard and use up his pitches.
  5. Gotcha, thanks Fred. This is tough having this on MLB.audio and a new South Park and Mind of Mencia to watch at the same time.
  6. They do...they have redone all the seats though....light yellow and blue, evidently like it was in the 60's when they built the park. Supposedly some of the Dodgers think it is too bright now though, not something to worry about if they could get their fans into their seats at gametime (i know, i know, traffic in LA and so forth, but still...) Thanks, I remember seeing that in the pictures on one of the baseball video games.
  7. Whew, way to get by those two walks. Very refreshing to see a rook do that instead of giving up the three-run homer as we have seen many times.
  8. One more question: What caused the name change from Chavez-Ravine to Dodger Stadium?
  9. Do they still have that neat backdrop behind the outfield bleahers? It's kind of a wavy blacony design.
  10. How close is Marshall missing? It seems on Gameday that they are just low or barely outside.
  11. McDonald's for making people fat and Phillip Morris for people getting cancer have worked. Why not the Cubs? They give us false promises of a good season all the time and it isn't true, no different than saying cigs are safe.
  12. Now we thank the dear Lord for the invention of licquor and wait until tomorrow.
  13. At least Wuertz and Williams have been pretty good thus far.
  14. Barrett in 5-hole = good idea!
  15. Nice, I do too, I picked up Freel for my backup once I traded Utley.
  16. How desperate must that guy have been for 2B production??? He had a good season last year, but I had Soriano whom has started off well and no other 3rd baseman. Not sure who is other option was at 2nd.
  17. Pat going on to remind us of the Yanks coming back to win, like we need more bad news today.
  18. I traded Utley for Aram because Chipper got hurt. I hope he turns it on soon.
  19. Very well put, and a great perspective on what we hav e seen so far.
  20. I guess I will never be a good candidate for any play-by-play since I will be the fourth or fifth person to record the result.
  21. Gotcha, thanks, that would explain the delay.
  22. Go D-Lee. Too bad I missed my draft and ended up with Pujols instead of him. I wonder if his owner would trade straight up.
  23. Fred, how are you following the game? YOu had the Pierre groundout up 10-15 seconds before I heard the Pat and Ron call on Gameday Audio.
  24. Go Mabry, leads off with a basehit. Now batting .750.
