    I would have absolutely no problem with the Cubs taking over the title of NL Yankees from the Cardinals. And unlike Cardinals fans we should just revel in it. The Cubs have sucked for most of their existence aside from a handful of playoff seasons. We deserve unlimited riches.

    If we get add even a solid number three starter next year, and either keep Fowler or sign another awesome outfielder, and the bullpen stays solid, does this team have any glaring weaknesses besides outfield defense? [expletive] it, let's go all out with spending this offseason and make this team flawless. Another starter, another outfielder, and a shutdown reliever.

    The Royals went into the playoffs with a less than stellar rotation last year and that turned out pretty well for them. It's a meatbally thing to say that their average starters 'stepped it up,' but that's pretty much what happened.

    Dude...he's given up three runs in four innings so far. But he struck out a good batter! That puts him on the same tier as Kershaw!

    They're the worst team driving in runners from 3rd with less than 2 outs. But every team is the same I've been told. and yet somehow they've got like the 6th highest wOBA in baseball in the second half and 7th or something in runs in that span, so WHO THE [expletive] CARES? Because the Cubs have been unclutch the last week and our contact woes have been magnified. People like to complain about that.
