  1. After what happened in the 8th inning, them winning this one would be stealing it. Pretty much. Cubs' winning probability with 70% before the double play. Ugh. Just... so many other things could have happened in that situation. This game has been one huge letdown so far.
  2. The send was a bad idea at the time and in hindsight. Shallow flyball, Heyward throwing, and you still have a crappy pitcher on the mound with one out if you don't send. It wasn't a 'do or die' situation. We still had time. It was completely unjustifiable. Also, Christ, Miggy, can you please hit a fastball?
  3. Shut the [expletive] up, you troglodyte. Lulz.
  4. That didn't have to happen. Why did that have to happen?
  5. You have to do better than that. You absolutely can't [expletive] up this opportunity.
  6. Are you [expletive] kidding me.
  7. Yeah but too bad we suck with guys on third and less than two outs so we're going to blow it here. (Kidding, kidding. Bury those douchebags right here, Cubs).
  8. Now we just need a hit. Please, Cubs.
  9. [expletive]. ONE DONG, PLEASE. ONE.
  10. That totally went over the bag.
  11. Let's not strike out so often on straight fastballs, please.
  12. this is a little weird since it's about a guy who is in his first (and probably only) year on the cardinals Meatball rage. I hate it when insufferably successful teams get amped up as if they're fighting for their playoff lives.
  13. Baseball proves that karma doesn't exist.
  14. Yes, a Cardinals player is fired up after their team finally has a good season after years of futility. Oh wait, they've been insufferable playoff darlings the past five years.
  15. Are you [expletive] kidding me.
  16. how else do you think it's possible to strike out so much with that kind of an eye/discipline? He'll get better. One of the frustrating aspects of our strikeout tendencies is how often we've swung through juicy meatballs.
  17. Damn, not a good curveball from Martinez.
  18. Way to bring the shutdown stuff when we could really use the sweep, Lester. -_-
  19. The Dodgers offense should be worlds better with a $240 million payroll.
  20. [expletive] Dodgers.
  21. You'd better not [expletive] this up, Dodgers.
  22. Christ, Liriano is good, but the Dodgers should be able to muster more than one run off him.
  23. I wish I wasn't stuck in North Dakota so I could get in on the local hype. :(
