    With how good this team is going to be, and how I expect us to bury the opposition in dongs every game, this is going to be a long, long offseason. Last winter, we were hoping the Cubs would be good again. This time, it's all but guaranteed unless all of our rookies suffer through sophomore slumps and Arrieta blows out his elbow.

    I just want us to score 8 runs in the first inning of the Wild Card game so I can kick back and bask in the anticipation of trouncing the Cardinals in the NLDS.

    We would have the deepest offense in baseball. Even if Baez only manages a .750 OPS, that's still above average as a middle infielder. Prospects panning out to be just average players is a valuable thing.
