    all 16 of his pitches have been sliders make it 19 in a row 30 of 32 pitches have been sliders, wow... I'm hoping that the second time through the lineup will be able to make better contact.

    I'd say that if Lilly and Marquis can pick it up, our rotation is very solid. Zambrano and Dempster have been very good all year long, Marquis and Lilly have been showing signs of improvement. Marquis has been more aggressive and therefore way more effective, and Lilly will be great if he can do well in the 1st and not give up so many home runs. Gallagher has earned a spot in the rotation. He didn't pitch bad Friday, or that one game when we lost 3-0 against the Dodgers, he just didn't get run support. He's had like, what, 1 bad start all season?

    It's nice that the Brewers lost, but I'm not too concerned about them at this point.

    Why? Fielder's triple didn't get out of the park. It hit the yellow line I thought. Yes, but it bounced back into the park.

    It's not a home run. The throw to the infield got away, allowing Cuddyer to score from 3rd.

    Wow. I go to work at 11, we're busy until 1:30, then I check the game and see that the Cubs are up 6-0 against Halliday and Marquis has a 1 hitter going. Then we win later. What is the world coming to?

    Sorry for being pessimistic guys, but I'm going to count this one as a loss. Of course, I'll still follow the game from work though.
