i actually don't think any of the 3 challenges were reversible by those standards Fair enough, you rarely have absolute proof to overturn, but if MLB isn't going to adhere to their own rules, then they need to change them or be more forthcoming in the standards they're actually using. Requiring a writeup on the reasoning used to uphold or overturn a call would be a good start.

I admit that watching a baseball zoom into an imaginary box is hard work, so I can forgive an ump for missing a call within an inch of the strike zone. Calling a strike two inches off the plate, however, is inexcusable.
