  1. They won't offer you a buyout unless the Bears made the SB. Let's say you bet $100 at +10,000 that would pay out 10k. They would offer you like $4500 to cash out if the line was a pickem on the game. I had a Philles ticket, and I didn't get an offer until just before game 1 and the Astros were heavy favorites, and my buyout was only like 35% of the potential winnings.
  2. Regardless of what anyone thinks of the call I think we can agree on this. Would have been fun to see it play out with Philly getting the ball back with just under 2 minutes left. I cannot agree on this. It was an entertaining game that ended with disappointed Philly fans. That’s all I could hope for and more I agree, it's always nice to know Philly fans are disappointed
  3. It's like in hockey, you may see hooks all game, but they'll call it when you hook the guy who has the puck as he's trying to get a shot off. It wasn't just the jersey tug, it was where and when it happened Just watched it again this morning thinking I’d reconsider. I still horsefeathering hate that call. I agree, while by letter of the law it was a penalty, the ref essentially ended the game right there. KC was the better team but what an awful way to end a great SB.
  4. Andy Reid owned Nick Siriani in the 2nd half and the Philly D never showed up. KC deserved to win
  5. Offshore books. League booka don't have that. I might bet some props but I like the Eagles quitea bit at -1.5. 33-20
  6. Does Lebron last as long as he has if he played in an NBA where they still played defense?

    NFL Playoffs

There isn't a "Guess what an idiot with 7 SB rings did again?" thread and the playoffs are dead until probably media day next week.
  8. Great hockey player, complete piece of horsefeathers person Yup, and as you said below, it's really hot where he went
  9. Bobby Hull died

    NFL Playoffs

Should be a good SB. Chiefs opened at -1 now its Eagles-2. Chiefs won't be able to get to Hurts like they did Burrow. I think Eagles win 27-24

    NFL Playoffs

Me too! Especially considering Jax should have covered the number earlier but fumbled inside the 5 yard line.
  12. A good FU parting gift to an organization about to fire him after a single season. The Houston Texans is the worst organization in the NFL, by far. And, quite possibly, the worst organization in professional sports. The Blackhawks beg to differ
  13. Probably the best option available to them. Play a potential AFC championship in Indy I would guess
  14. Sit Fields after the 1st drive with cramping issues. Texans beat the Colts. Let the bidding begin
  15. That's a good idea about the neutral site. I mentioned that about KC because they lost to both Cincinnati and Buffalo
  16. Just hope he can recover and lead a normal life. Assuming they do not play this game, give KC the bye based on the half game lead but should Buffalo or Cincy meet them in the AFC championship, that team would get home field advantage
  17. NFL do the right thing and suspended the game
  18. Bears are getting the #1 pick. Lovie going to try to win this week and Jax will be resting players for Week 18. My only concern is with the Vikings resting guys week 18
  19. These are the only teams exempt. New Orleans Saints Seattle Seahawks Washington Commanders(will likely make the playoffs) Chicago Bears Jacksonville Jaguars(will likely make the playoffs) So basically, its either Bears,Seahawks or Saints. Unless one of the exempt teams volunteers
  20. Yeah the only game I see the Bears possibly winning is week 18 vs Minnesota. Since I'm bored, and this is off topic, I was looking at Bears 2023 opponents, this should be pretty close to what it ends up being based on current standings. Home: Green Bay Detroit Minnesota Atlanta Carolina NFC West #4-LA Rams or Arizona Las Vegas Denver Away: Green Bay Detroit Minnesota New Orleans Tampa Bay NFC East #4 Washington or NYG Kansas City LA Chargers AFC North #4 Pittsburgh or Cleveland
  21. Cohen walking into the next owner's meeting
  22. Sexy, and with no talent around him. Imagine what his numbers would look like if he were on a team like Philly, or basically any other team with NFL talent.
  23. Fine game by Fields and the Bears. Was at the game. Philly fans are scum of the earth and I hope the 9ers curb stomp them in the NFC Championship game
  24. Exactly all of this. MLB is going the same way the NHL was doing contracts 10-15 years ago. Remember the Hossa deal? Not to say that I'm pissed at the Swanson signing, it's just that people freak out about these other deals and the years attached
