    Missed opportunity. Toews' and Keith's contracts are not nearly as bad as Seabrooks'. There's also the undeniable fact that the Hawks defense could be really bad unless some of these young guys work out. They have money to spend to shore up the D at the deadline thanks to Hossa LTIR I found the Blues writeup at the end funny: "If you ever find yourself pulling for this team, remember their fans are also Cardinals fans"

    So Jake won't be pitching in the NLDS after all? 3-0 sweep to send Dusty home.

    I just read the sample on Amazon which is just over 1 chapter. I decided to order it. Very good so far.

    Bosio was on the Score this morning basically saying he can't see Jake not pitching in any playoff series and the simulated game was moved to a bullpen session due to the shitty weather. Also they pressed him on who the game one starter was going to be but he wouldn't say.

    Well, maybe the Cubs NLDS game will be at 4pm and then lead right into MNF.

    Baseball is the hardest sport to make the playoffs. Also the 1 game WC playoff actually makes winning your division more important

    i went to the loss (iirc to pittsburgh?) in 2015 and had no idea they were coming back out to celebrate. Same, I went across the street to the Cubby Bear and noticed the celebration on tv there( I hate the Cubby Bear but we had out of towners with us that insisted on going there)
