  1. The #3 seed is probably better to get than the #2 seed. The Marlins would be the worst record of the 2nd place teams.

  3. Yes, and extremely likely
  4. Mills is back on the mound after the no hitter R.I.P RBG
  5. How many times now has he been hired/fired/ leave of absence due to drug issues over the last 25+ years? 10?
  6. Two off days this week and now the Twins come in after losing 2/3 to the White Sox. Cubs have won 4 in a row and can finish off the final home stand of the regular season with the Central all but locked up Kyle Hendricks is on the mound tonight
  7. "Private Eyes" is playing at Wrigley
  8. 3 wins in a row! Maybin takes one for the team, to walk it off
  9. Magic number #10. I think the Reds will end up in 2nd
  10. Makes sense. Marlins have never lost a playoff series, that streak will end this year.
  11. Why are NL playoff teams playing in AL ballparks and vice versa? Also being 2020 this is definitely the year for a all Chicago World Series
  12. Cubs are now tied with the Atlanta baseball team for the #2 seed
  13. I disagree with this, at least in the first half yesterday it seemed like Mack was in the backfield on every play. I'm still not sure how he didn't get a sack, other then the fact, as you point out, he was likely being held on every play as well. Probably an overreaction on my part, I was hoping to see the Mack we saw on that Thursday night in GB, there's a good chance we won't see that version again. That was a defensive performance for the ages. You probably won't see that ever again
  14. Last couple of games were pretty uneventful eh?
  15. Mills no no Bears score 3 tds in 4th to win Cardinals lose
  16. [tweet] [/tweet]
  17. Jason Heyward [tweet] [/tweet]
  18. An even more putrid offense
  19. TWO horsefeathering hits last night? Cubs magic number down to 16 thanks to the Cardinals loss. David Ross, the learning curve appears to be high? Or are you just bad? The Cubs offense is BAD That umpire's zone was very large last night It reminded me of Eric Gregg(R.I.P) in the 1997 NLCS game 5 [bbvideo=560,315] [/bbvideo]
  20. The fake patriotism from these people is funny. "How dare they disrespect the flag and military" as they support a 6 time Vietnam draft dodger, a man who made fun of an opponent who was a POW, a man who trashed soldiers who died on D-Day, a man who looked the other way when America's biggest adversary put bounties on US soldiers. horsefeathers you
  21. White at home works for early September home games when its 90 out, but other than that there is no reason for them
  22. They are an exciting team to watch and remind me of the 2015 Cubs. I just hate their fan base
  23. If one or both get in, a possible 1st round date with the White Sox. Sign me up for the Sox being one and done.
