  1. I hate to sound like a meatball but Nagy needs to horsefeathering go. Or at least be forced to give up play calling. Fields may end up being a bust. But we can't let Nagy have anything to do with his development before we find out.
  2. I would think at least 1 of the 7+ underdogs win outright. Probably the one I pick in Survivor pool Also, heard a stat on the Score this morning. Under Nagy, the Bears are 0-14 as an underdog since 2019 and 2-12 against the spread. Not sure if that is accurate. Edited its not accurate they beat TB last year
  3. They emailed, called, emailed again, called again, and sent a postcard. If I get another phone call, I will just say horsefeathers the Rickets and hang up
  4. Browns might be banged up a bit. Perhaps no OBJ, and it looks like Mayfield might not be 100% Maybe the Bears pull of the upset and Fields goes 18/25 for 250 and 2 TDs, the Bears shutdown Chubb and win 24-17
  5. That guy cashed in at the absolutely right time. He set himself up for life and then immediately turned into a pumpkin. Ala Eddie Jackson
  6. I haven't checked but maybe it's on YouTube or at least a few clips.
  7. Yup, Im thinking week 4 at home vs Detroit, a perfect situation. How are the Bears fans at Soldier Field going to react this Sunday if the Bears sputter into halftime with like 6 points or if something happens like a Dalton pick 6?
  8. Regency bias, Is this when teams that stay at a Hyatt get an extra 1-2 points from Vegas? Woops lol spell check. But yes they probably get the extra 1-2 points for staying at the Hyatt
  9. Is this going to be every week? I didn't even hear about this until yesterday. Finally something to use my ESPN + subscription on that came with Disney +
  10. Recency bias, bettors overreact to week 1. Look ahead line prior to week 1 had the Bears at -4.5. I think the best bet is the over in this game actually. Its going to be 90F on Sunday, defenses will be gassed. Bears better switch to their white jerseys for this one. Another game Tennessee at Seattle( -5.5) wut? I know its in Seattle but people are putting too much stock into how bad Tennessee looked and how good Seattle looked
  11. Bears 27 Bungles 24
  12. This game played out exactly how I thought it would. Except Montgomery looked really good and Eddie Jackson looked even more shitty than he did last year. Everyone from the coaching staff up to the top is a joke. But this has been the story since the mid 80s
  13. SNF opener at LA with fans for the first time at SoFi Stadium How long will the Dalton era last? Matt Stafford makes his LA debut Rams 27 Bears 13
  14. Why did ND go into a prevent like defense after going up 18 late in the 3rd? Asking for a friend who bet ND -7
  15. If you're pessimistic then nothing matters. Field's leg will spontaneously combust on the 50 yard line against the Packers and they'll blow a 30-3 lead in the 4th quarter. Sounds about right lol
  16. What about the scenario that Dalton starts week 1, Fields is used for a few gimmick plays a couple of times a game and gets a season ending injury? I'm just a pessimistic Bears fan, sorry. I'm in the start Fields now camp.i think he starts week 4 vs Detroit at home. Bears are 1-2, with narrow victory vs Cincinnati with Dalton.
  17. The Cowboys are always talked up every season by ESPN, NBC, CBS, etc. Jersey and Minnesota are correct
  18. Yeah that 2011 team seemed to be on fire right when Cutler got hurt. Maybe its the Bears not the Giants who beat the Patriots that year if Cutler doesn't try to make that tackle. 2012 they started 7-1 but seemed to run out of gas. I went to that Titans game in Nashville 55-10 or something like that, what a party that was.
  19. "The owners are a set of geriatric fail children who are also poster children for a 100% inheritance tax. The fans live under the delusion that this team is still (or ever really was) a giant of the league, despite one Super Bowl victory that’s old enough to have heart problems and a bad back. Oh and horsefeathers Brian Urlacher. Go get another barbed wire tattoo with a hepatitis infected needle, you Trump humping [expletive]. You’re not fooling anyone with those hair plugs."
  20. He was benched in 07. Orton won the starting job in 08 and Rex didn't come in until Orton got hurt. Man, I thought he was gonna be horsefeathering good and was so deflated by his injuries in 04 and 05. Was so friggin excited when he came in at halftime on SNF against the Falcons when they benched neckbeard in 05 and the crowd went insane when he made his first long completion to Moose after a half of complete ineptitude by Orton. Didn't even care that his TD on that drive came after a fumbled interception (or however that play went exactly) lol. Then he had the start he had in 06 and I was sure I was right. Oh, well. lol Ha, I was at that game. It was like 3F.
  21. After the Tampa game in 2018 where Trubisky had 6 TDs in the first half everyone thought Pace was a genius but it pretty much went kaput after that. Oh yes... Kevin Orie, Gary Scott brings back childhood memories. Finally someone to replace the black hole at 3B that existed since Santo left.
  22. Also, MJ never had to play a game 7 in the finals.
  23. I like it simply because it is really going to piss off those crying "cancel culture" "political correctness is killing Murica"
  24. I always tell people I meet in say Vegas at a poker table who say they are from Milwaukee, "Ah Chicago's largest Northern suburb" they go on tilt pretty quick. Old people in Europe when stating I'm from Chicago area, still say AL Capone, Sam Giancana, or John Wayne Gacy. Younger people mention Obama or MJ.
  25. :clapping: Another positive is the huge parking area at the track. I think in its heyday Arlington probably had 30K in attendance. So double that for a Bears game. I don't think the traffic issue will be as bad as people make it out to be. Can't be any worse than the hassle SF is now. Tired of parking a 30 minute walk away, and doing the same after the game usually pissed off and drunk after a Bears loss.
