  1. While I see what you guys are saying, I would leave Soto where he is for the time being. If it ain't broke, you know. That being said, if Soto is still mashing at his current level at the all-star break it is going to be awfully hard for Lou to resist moving Geo the the 5 slot and Fuk to #2.
  2. One of my biggest pet peeves is when the person singing the 7th inning stretch says "let's get some runs" when the Cubs are ahead in the game. You can never have enough runs. Nah... That line needs to be saved to spark rallies. Under your premise the fans should wear rally caps all game.

  4. Really? I didn't see that. On the other hand, I did see dora the explorer throw the first pitch. Stupid CSN production team.
  5. Brennamen needs to shut his mouth and go back to the tanning salon. Guy's face looks like the saddle that his hick partner rides to work on. He is just bitter that coming to Chicago prevents him from getting his full $$$ worth out of his $19.99 unlimited monthly pass as Hollywood Tans.
  6. No offense to Jake, but if you are going to blow him for a series, it might as well be this one. Wow, that sounds gay. Well according to Len and Bob's crazy logic that is more dangerous...
  7. All of the posh giveaways went to the riveting Misty May.
  8. Was the guy double fisting a beer w/ a mai tai? If so it was probably Duhon.
  9. I have no doubt. What I don't like is his K's, which are unusual for him.
  10. Ram is not right...hasn't been all year. What is strange is that he the best protection he has ever had...
  11. Volquez at 111 pitches. Dusty going to leave him in?
  12. Wow. Nice play. On the bright side, homeboy is already at 94 pitches so we should only see him one more inning (provided we are a little patient and that Dusty doesn't go Dusty on us and leave him in for 148 pitches).
  13. Ha. Under this premise Drew Gooden should have played like a 27 year old Wilt Chamberlain this year. That, and we should get the Brawny Paper Towel guy to replace baby-faced Soriano in left.
  14. "A little luck never hurt, either." Ladies and gentleman, the 2008 Chicago Cubs!
  15. First post... What I love... None of that rally was wind aided. What is also nice is that my ears have finally stopped bleeding from having to listen to Misty May for 20 minutes last night.
