    Has anyone figured out why Flaherty hasn't played lately? Hand injury...may be done for awhile... Ughh. Didn't think it'd be serious if the local papers hadn't picked up on it. That sucks. Might also explain the lack of power he had shown thus far in XBH-friendly Boise. That's not necessarily confirmed by any type of medical professional (I was told that X-Rays were negative), but Raisin, you know I've got an "inside source"..... :D Heh. Well the poster dlocks said it was a hand injury in today's game thread so unless he/she has inside sources too, it looks like some news of it has made it to the media. Eh, what can I say. I guess i'm just such a "reliable source" lol..... not.

    apparently a hand injury... Haven't heard much more than that.

    Rolled his ankle a few days ago, he's day-to-day. likely back tomorrow the braodcaster for boise said. They're being extremely cautious. They said he very easily could have played tonight, and is avaiable to pinch hit.

    Outman actually went to the same college I did (He was the class before me). He's a great kid, and I texted him to see how he felt about the situation and he seemed pretty opened minded. He's one heck of an athlete. Actually hit .379 his senior season at the plate, and won various awards on the mound leading the mules to the D2 world series. I wish nothing but the best of luck to him.

    Vitters is 0-3 tonight and his average is in danger of falling below .300. Boise is tied at 2.

    Jose Ceda's numbers at AA, especially for his age are very, very impressive. I think he has a bright future as a reliever in MLB.... Heck maybe even this year is Marmol keeps sucking.

    ugly win. Hendry needs to get another arm in the pen before the deadline, because I really don't feel comfortabe with anyone right now. Brian Fuentes would be very nice.

    Any word on his rehab? I know its only been a week, but I still am really pulling for him to be back before september.

    Mesa 2 weeks tops, Boise 2-3 weeks, Daytona 3-4 weeks, Iowa, remainder of minor leauge season, Chicago in Mid. September for a cup of coffee after the Cubs Clinch the division.

    For anyone who cares, Andrew Cashner is expected to enter the booth with len and bob for an interview at some point during the game. I'm definately looking forward to it.
