  1. nah, one can squint and see a 3 tech and a DT, CB, OT 4
  2. I agree with this, IF Carter didnt show up to his pro day with a huge monkey on his back and unmotivated. I still would have drafted him, but with perspective I can see Poles decision Poles still took the hard way: Wright has to pan out
  3. I don't disagree with quantity IS a quality, I actually preach it. I just really wanted Schmitz
  4. nah, this is just throwing resources at a problem we'll see
  5. i was trying to be positive.....hopeful maybe
  6. eh, he's 6-6, only 301 lbs. he could be Ted Washington with the right nutrition program
  7. Maybe, Schmitz could be a choice too
  8. I read that Wright shut Anderson down, basically man/kid style. And I'll reiterate that RT's are as valuable as LT's, so I can buy the idea that Poles and Co thought he was the best tackle option. But damn...Carter
  9. Mauch, Harrison and Jones according to PFF https://www.pff.com/news/draft-2023-nfl-draft-top-10-offensive-tackle-rankings
  10. While I would have taken Carter, I also 100% agree with you on Wright. If I pass on Carter I want tg player I can get. poles thinks that's Wright. I guess we'll find out
  11. I hope I'm wrong and they find something in Wright no one else is, but I can't help but have deja vu. The feeling I have is the same feeling I had when I heard the name "Marc Colombo" on draft day.
  12. No he won't. Hell need Carter to fail AND Wright to be successful to look smart i feel like it's actually the bigger gamble, and kind of a dumb choice
  13. Says who? You could forget about Skoronski and gotten 2-3 better thought of prospects at T Not to mention Edge players that were still available,
  14. There were 4 other tackles rated higher. They must think he's the guy for some reason, but what exactly?
  15. I guess I look at it like this: with a top 10 pick, the Bears need the best skill player available. Robinson is def one of the top skill players in the draft, and I don't really think there will be any offensive skill players who are better at 9. Maybe a CB or two, that would be my other choice. I feel like they can clean up the lines in the 2nd-4th rounds
  16. Idk, I think it would be hard for me to pass on Robinson at 9. RB and all, but still a playmaker
  17. I'd hate the pick at 9, and I'd rather have a more versatile tackle then a primary right tackle
