I like your willingness to think outside the box but up-the-middle defense is incredibly important to a championship team, so Zambrano playing 2nd probably isn't a good idea. He might be good for a few more runs than Neifi on offense, but Neifi is a gold-glover and probably saved the Cubs from losing 25 or 26 games last year. You're either drunk or not conveying sarcasm well. Sorry. I need to use this :wink: more often. I laughed out loud when Neifi got thrown out stealing second by a mile --- on a one-hop throw. :twisted: I can just pitcher him slidding into second holding onto his balls....... Marmol's a pretty good one lol OUR PITCHERS have to do the hitting? :shock: I wouldn't mind if they pinch-hit Zambrano in for Neifi and kept him at 2nd for the rest of the game. He's tall enough that he just needs to fall on the ball in any direction to reach it and it's nothing but short throws anyway. @ 96 mph w/movement....have fun with that Lee

story about Carlos Lee I was at theCubs Brewers game friday night and sat 2 rows from LF. there was a little girl and mom behind us with a sign that read "I love You Carlos!!! Come back to Chicago!!" They were wearing Cubs shirts. He saw the sign, us all sitting there and gave the girl a big smile, wave, and wink.... I'm not sure I would really want him though...maybe to a reasonable contract...
