  1. careful. you're treading on Sulley's territory
  2. lolz
  3. nope.
  4. great. the patriots decided to suck tonight.
  5. I chalked it up to irrational homer-ism. well, Go Patriots. Help the Bears out.
  6. I have a drastically different opinion of the Packers roster. its solid, but I wouldn't declare it Super Bowl
  7. well, I'll take a coaching controversy in GB next year.
  8. this gave me a chuckle. they really need to win tomorrow
  9. I would think with all the hype for the Packer's season, if they miss the playoffs, McCarthy would get the boot. Is that a fair assessment, or does he have more staying power?
  10. Are you done yet? Anyway, because of the costs associated with making the field cold weather tolerant I can understand, but it can't be that much more expensive to have concession stands that can operate in cold temps. That just seems weird to me. Are they sticking with the no alcohol policy that I think I heard earlier this week? I'm never done when I see moronic arguments on an issue someone has no f-in clue about. but yes, the Vikings have stated there will be no alcohol sales, although the University gave them that option. Don't know why, but its Ziggy Wilf and his clown posse.
  11. yea guys, I mean the University of Minnesota should always prepare (and likely pay) for any of the issues the Minnesota Vikings could possibly have.
  12. I think people have Minneapolis and Tower MN completely confused
  13. hey, I have an idea. Why didnt the Stadium designers just pay for the whole damn stadium out of their pockets? and all the needs of the NFL too? stupid designers.
  14. It's not even close to the first time that happened, plus the snow helped more than anything. AGAIN, the Vikings gave no money to the stadium to prepare for such an event.
  15. Consensus is that it's a pretty great stadium. Opposite end of the spectrum from having to play in the dome for the Gophers. great in September and October, maybe. Seems completely inadequate in cold weather That's kind of like saying they botched Madison Square Garden because it's not suited for international soccer competitions. Ecept not at all. It's a football field in Minnesota not designed for weather you can easily get in college football season. And there was talk of the Vikings sharing it at one point. Just makes no sense. at which time the Vikings were to foot the bill for the heating coils, concession stands (for NFL games) etc. but, the vikings kind of backed out of that. yea, those stupid designers and University people. you should have planned for EVERYTHING with out wasting the taxpayers money. DUH
  16. Consensus is that it's a pretty great stadium. Opposite end of the spectrum from having to play in the dome for the Gophers. great in September and October, maybe. Seems completely inadequate in cold weather yea because they designed it for late January Is it January? Does it never get below freezing during college football season in Minneapolis? what part of "they shut the stadium down after the college season" dont you get?
  17. Consensus is that it's a pretty great stadium. Opposite end of the spectrum from having to play in the dome for the Gophers. great in September and October, maybe. Seems completely inadequate in cold weather yea because they designed it for late January
  18. oh waaa waaa waaa play the damn game already
  19. I think no alcohol will create a very quite crowd right around halftime
  20. Is the stadium on campus? yes. and for the 2nd time, the U of MN doesnt allow the sale of alcohol on campus
  21. Forgot about that, but wasn't alcohol was sold when the Bears played at U of I a few years back? dont know, never went to one of those games
  22. Maybe they should just forefit the game. That would be the break to end all breaks. They could use the White Sox forfeiting a game when (old) Comiskey Park was unplayable following Disco Demolition Night as precedence to argue for a forfeit due to an unplayable field. :D OK, back to reality. when was this? before you were born
  23. I highly suspect that since Childress is now gone, so too will Favre be. Frazier will probably be done with him not only because of age, but also a desire to move the team in his ideal
