I abruptly told my boss I wasnt in the mood to talk. granted, there is alot more going in in my life besides the Bears, that aren't good and I'm having the shittiest weekend in forever, that wasnt a stable move on my part.

Not sure why Muhammed and Taylor are on your list. Moose was ok but nowhere near the WR we thought we were getting from Carolina and showed up both Orton and Grossman when they were playing poorly/didn't get him the ball enough. Taylor spent most of the year dodging speculation that he was helping the Vikings by sabotaging the Bears. I would add Rueben Brown to the good FA signings. He was past his prime but he still had some really solid years with the Bears. I think Angelo thought he was getting another Brown when he signed Pace before last year, but that definitely didn't work out. Moose and Taylor were big name signings. That they didn't work out isn't really the point. The point is that Angelo isn't afraid to spend money in FA. exactly, I only point them all out to make the point that Angelo uses that part of the talent pool to a significant degree, at least enough to assume we could go after good offensive lineman.

Angelo plays the FA/Trade market about as well as any other GM. Cutler, Muhommed, Tait, Peppers, Taylor granted last year they went all out and made a big splash, he has consistently used the FA market. I dont think there is any other reason to think he wouldn't this year, other then the CBA junk.

That's the most popular way to classify an in-game injury. I pretty much always hear questionable or doubtful. When Maurkice Pouncey left the Steelers game and it was quite clear he wasn't coming back in (taken off on a cart and hobbling around on crutches) the Steelers announced he was questionable to return. Why they do that I don't know, but it's the popular thing to do. Pouncey's a [expletive] seriously. a sprained ankle? they couldnt just tape that [expletive] up and send him back out? what a joke.

I like the idea of Jones (WR), I just really worry if he gets here and continues to drop balls. then, you've given alot of money to someone who cant catch. and, I wonder about Sidney Rice. He has to be thinking "Who is my QB?" Just come to Chicago, Rice.

I think Pisa is more valuable toe the run defense then people give him credit for. Far more then Roach. as for the DT's, Toaena will be around. I see them dumping Harrison (or practice squad) and possibly resigning Harris to a incentive contract. But they should def draft for a new one. A stud like the Illinois or North Carolina DT's in the 1st or 2nd makes sense if a stud tackle isnt available.

How about definitely? I saw this too. Hanie was looking at game film sitting next to Cutler. Cutler was talking to him OMC's thought that he should be running around screaming at Hanie is stupid. When Bennett scored, Cutler was up smiling, high-fiving him and Hanie people just dont like Cutlers demeanor period. [expletive] them.

I'd need to see it again, but I thought he was diving to try to get to Urlacher because he was trying to make a cut. lower his shoulder or speared him, either way Urlacher should have just went after him. ok, I'm f-in bitter.

he got him by his shoe strings. Urlacher basically tripped over his own to feet trying to stutter step over Rodgers. I'm not sure that was a great play by him, but I guess it worked. Urlacher should have just lowered his shoulder and went after Rodgers, with the ball.

who would that FA WR be, James Jones? Sidney Rice? Vincent Jackson? Jones drops everything, Rice will get resigned by MN, Jackson is just old. It really would be nice to have a guy like Aroushmado play more this past season to see what he would be like. alas.

Shouldn't be THAT hard to get Asomugha. He had zero interceptions this year... he may even be over-rated, but teams will go after him.

Or the Packers. McCarthy did the same thing once or twice, which is even stranger than Lovie doing it. the coaching on both sides was bewildering. it was as if they were trying to out-goof each other to a win. That end around followed by a 20 yrd crossing pattern on 4th down was crap. the no-go on the 49 field goal was crap. Todd Collins is crap, period.
