  1. a kick returner. i mean since Hester has clearly failed and the league is getting tougher on returns, we HAVE to invest in more talent there. That or a 2nd tier safety who can play special teams. Facetious, but probably 1/2 true. The Bears are probably not going to take OL in the 1st. Carimi and Webb will get another year at OT, unless they are completely terrible. And the Bears probably don't think interior OL is a first round worthy pick (considering they've never picked an C or G in the 1st). I'd like them to go for Mike Brewster to play C for the next 10 years, but if they don't, it has to be a WR. This draft is loaded at WR. FWIW, I still think this team picks between 18-25. They are not as bad as today. They can be as good as Week 1. facetious? it makes about as much sense as any drafting strategy Angelo has EVER had. and although I was completely joking around, I really fear this type of draft by Angelo.
  2. I'd guess the Lions are a 8-10 win team this year, but I dont think they are elite enough to go head-to-head with GB, NE, AT, possibly NO. They might might be the Bears closest match.
  3. two ten-win teams last year At what point over the last two weeks have you looked at the Chiefs and thought "yup, that's a 10-win team in 2011"??? it's just a questionable conclusion to reach: "the Lions are thoroughly dismantling the Chiefs in epic fashion, doubtful any of that is due to the Lions own abilities..." the only "epic" fashion here is how "epic-ly bad" the chiefs really are. they might just tie the Lions 0-16 record.
  4. it might be, but it doesnt indicate the Chiefs are some kind of juggernaut. (to snayke's comment)
  5. Watch out for the Seahawks. Not worried about them. They get to play other NFC West teams. not to mention they have at least 15 secret weapons on their team....
  6. two ten-win teams last year beating the Bucs was a good game for them, but the Vikings almost beat them. Its not like the Bus are NE. The Chiefs are laughable. The Bills destroyed them for crying out loud. The lions are good this year, but they aren't world beaters.

  8. so, chances of Carimi being out next week, 80% or 99%? fuuuuuuuck

  10. I [expletive] swear angelo/lovie just wants to kill cutler
  11. our tackles are junk w/o Carimi
  12. its just open season on the Bears. Thanks worthless refs
  13. you can get a penalty for talking smack?? Is that a serious question? Give him a break, he just started watching NFL around January 2010. my Sam Mills kids size jersey from 1988 would suggest otherwise! :good: You have a point about a lot of Saints fans though. Ton of bandwagon fans. just cuz your dad bought you a jersey doesnt mean you watched football
  14. CUTLER THREW IT OFF HIS BACK FOOT DUH
  15. wtf, he stepped out not that it would matter I guess
  16. buck and aikman are railing on cutler on that throw, it HIT SAZENBACHER IN THE CHEST really?
  17. the saints D is dropping like flies and yet we still cant keep Cutler from being killed i really [expletive] hate angelo and his [expletive]
  18. joe buck : THE JAY CUTLER FUMBLE [expletive] you joe [expletive]. he was murdered
  19. Offensive line has been fine for the most part. Really? I've seen a ton of pressure on Cutler. That specific play might be on Davis, but the line hasn't looked good. Most of the pressure have come from edge rushers that the scheme isn't designed to block. so you ignore it and allow the D to kill Cutler?
  20. god, with carimi out were toast
  21. it was his knee I'm sure it was just a ploy the offense used to keep that last TO out of the hands of the coaching staff JC: "Gabe, just go down, we'll have to call a TO" GC: "Got it. OHHHHHHH MY ACL!"
  22. for as bad as we've looked at times, only down by less then a TD. we need our opportunistic D to strike
