  1. My impression is that while he isn't as good as Johnson, he is the same type of receiver. as i said, i don't see much of a difference other than that johnson can jump a little higher and marshall is a bit more physical. marshall seems to be a bit more of a possession receiver as well and isn't used quite so much in the red zone for some reason. Johnson seems to be more sane, tough and dependable. Banedon's first post says that Marshall and Cutler have a good relationship, albeit in 2010. However, if Marshall isn't used int eh red zone as much, doesn't that go against what we think we need?
  2. meaning Marshall could be had for a #3 or 4 (assuming he could be had)? do it.
  3. I guess my impression of Marshall isn't a Calvin Johnson type - who I would consider "un-coverable". And with the way the O-line is, the CJ WR type is the kind you would have to have in order to make up the difference in how bad the line is. I'd love to have a true #1 WR, but I want a responsible trade for Marshall if it were to happen.
  4. Cutler isn't responding to Marshall speculation probably because he's more concerned with the o-line at this point. He has decent WR's, and get plenty of passing yards when he has time-sometimes even when he doesn't have time. He probably feels the o-line is a much bigger focus of need. with the way Cutler spreads the ball around, how much of a difference would Marshall really make?
  5. Fine with me. I don't understand how you can play as poorly as he played last week, and then have the type of reaction he had to being demoted this week. I'm guessing this is part of the reason why he didn't dress, because he turned into captain sulk last week. Yeah, I'd have a hard time getting worked up over a Harris trade. Can't even blame last week on injury. He was just playing dumb. better question, what can we get for him? Is Miami in need for a safety? Marshall for Harris and our 4th rd?
  6. The biggest knock on Paea (aside from Sulleys personal distaste) has been his relative size and strength. He's small (or short) for a NFL DL, and in college relied on his freakish strength to handle O-lineman than many didn't think would translate to the NFL too easily. But, I think its clear, he has enough technique to go with his strength that he could be a good DL. He's plenty stout, and showed last night he has a good first jump off the line. Okoye and Paea could be a hell of a combo going forward.
  7. these kid safeties are playing well at least also, CUTLER FTW
  8. sooooo glad Maynard isnt here anymore. beautiful punt
  9. Paea got literary mugged on that play. amazing.
  10. hahahahahah I have no idea whats going on in here anymore

  12. Lo Pan: i dont care. I want it.
  13. Option C: Spike ball. Spike Ball. 3rd and 2, clock stopped. Kick 72 yrd field goal. god knows the others wont work, might as well try something new
  14. yea, but you arent going to loose any yards. running a play and taking a sack will be a worse result.
  15. I consider David a good poster. What's your problem? seriously? you're acting like the Cubs are forcing Ramirez to retire at the age of 27. the emo [expletive] is just fucked up in this thread.
  16. dude, just go the [expletive] away
  17. not unless he starts watching the Bears.
  18. I'm sure CARMINE just had a virus that day. I dont think he HAD CARMINE. maybe he invented her in order to never make the same mistake again.
  19. the Harris pick up was fine. he played well last year. who gives a [expletive] about the hype, its not like we paid him Polamalu money.
  20. Green no doubt was thinking "wtf have I committed to"
  21. Tadd Walkah Czar Lovah with tatoos planted on his a**hole
  22. they may actually look faster in comparison. I guess that's something when you're chasing down AP after a 78 yrd run.
  23. With apologies to Grant Hill... GAY. o comon its all big [expletive] happy fest. Theos on his way!
