I hope like hell you gave this its due diligence: A small but meaningful alter no larger then 1/2 the size of your abode complete with prayer wheels, incense, dried flower offerings and a kneeling pad. Don't piss off this baseball deity. -

It could be argued that if Marshall was a FA and got to go wherever he wanted, he would have been likely to pick Chicago anyway due to Cutler. But the Bears couldn't afford to wait to see if Miami cut Marshall in 2 days or 2 months. Even if you told me there was a better than 50/50 chance he would get cut and a 50/50 chance he went to the Bears vs. the other 30 teams, I still would be OK with the trade. yea, 2 3rd rds for a pro bowl WR isn't a bad deal no matter how you look at it, questioning it is revisionist bs

I'm coming at it from more of an occupy wall street anti 1% angle. That money should go to teachers and fire fighters and to keeping tickets low so people who really love the team can watch the games. I don't want to live in a world where my son can't afford season tickets. firefighters are overpaid, they can afford more then you realize.

I'm willing to bet the highest offer the bears get for Forte is the NE 2nd rd pick. Would you do that? And who would you try and draft with that pick?

I think it's somewhat hilarious that there is a perception that Forte is treating this so horribly bad because of a tweet. The bears offered him less then what Frank Gore got. I don't see an issue with him stomping his feet for more, especially if he can get it.

we won't get a 1st rd pick for him, but yes you do that deal all day. It's how the "running backs age faster so devalue them" that I find suspicious. HOW much faster do they age?
