  1. oooooooouch. KC was my #2 oh well GO BILLS
  2. Go Bills
  3. Could it be darvish and cain or arrieta and yelich or does that destroy life as we know it
  4. I think have Im snake bitten by Lovies inability to get a competent OC. It scares me when considering another DC for HC hire
  5. This is EXACTLY how the next WORLD WAR will start.
  6. According to Windy City Gridiron, the Bears interview Vic for the HC. Speculation includes the player love for him and just general respect for how hard hes worked the Defense into shape. You have to wonder if this is the Buddy Ryan affect on the McCaskeys/Virginia
  7. Lots to question in this list: https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ftw/2018/01/03/the-top-10-nfl-head-coaching-candidates-ranked/109118890/
  8. Which brings me back to: If you feel that way, why do you want the Bears job out of the 15 jobs that are open this offseason? THATISTHECONCERN.jpeg/gif I guess that depends on who you believe to be a “top candidate”. I doubt any of them are hard set against Mitch. Why would they be? Id worry more about a defensive minded coach not wanting to invest in the offense, or not knowing how to do so.
  9. It’s a misleading title in a transactions thread. He went to Seattle. We have excellent oysters
  10. great now the site’s going to get shut down when the feds find out it exists only thanks to the largesse of weed barons and their ill-gotten riches How? Tim doesnt pay taxes on wine and pizza and internet forums
  11. I think he was hoping youd let him out of it
  12. The head coach hire is a make or break decision, but this isn't quite a make or break year. With a 2-year extension both Pace and this new coach will have until 2019 to really show it on the field. He could go 7-9 this year and not risk losing his job. He could probably go 5-11 again and stay at the helm. I meant it more as a make or break year in terms of how I thought about him (which is super important to him and everyone else, I am sure). If your name is Virginia then i have a request of you
  13. I feel like you could get a glimmer a god complex when he got to Denver and wanted to trade Cutler immediately. And lets not forget, he’s working with Tom Brady for crying out loud. How long before he bails in Mitch and wants to dump him for some NE cast off? How much of his success is actually due to his play calling?
  14. Since when has Heymans opinion on football ever mattered
  15. Whats the boards opinion of Pace? Im 50/50. Some good picks, some lousy moves (Alshon)
  16. I think you have to bring Fuller back considering all the other holes that need to be filled. Franchise if you must, but start working on a contract.
  17. Nope. Mitch needs one offensive system to work under. Go with that guy as hc and you'll never lose him to a higher job. Yes. Not to mention the league has been migrating towards more offense since forever. I personally don’t care for that because I love super defensive teams, but thats how you maintain winning in the league.
  18. No to Harbaugh. But how is he a”failed” NFL coach?
  19. Explain If they don't do anything with Fangio today, I will take that as a sign they intend to promote him to HC. Not saying it would be a definitive sign they intend to go offensive minded HC if Fangio is let go, but I think them not getting rid of Fangio out of the gate makes it much more likely they keep him. They arent promoting Fangio. They may try to convince him to stay on under a new HC however
  20. I think my pref would be reverse order of that.
  21. Yeah, and Bradley Chubb or Josh Rosen would be a steal in the third round. Maybe they can scoop up Saquon Barkley in the fourth to back up Jordan Howard. I've seen rumors that Williams could fall to the 2nd on WalterFootball. Says that teams value him quite a bit less than mock guys do. Some teams even have mid round grades on him, according to Charlie Campbell. which is where I got the idea. I want a #1 wr in the worst way. Ridley might do, but getting a solid T in rd 2 would be amazing. you're an idiot cali
  22. I'd be worried about a coach who didn't believe they could coach up Trubisky. Not that he is some sure thing, but I want a guy who can adapt to his talent too and not get so narrowed in on a singular QB talent. I'd be worried about Fangino, honestly. Its setting up like a Ryan/Ditka situation. The Defense is good, is there anyway we keep Vic with a new offensive HC?
  23. lets begin the debate: top #8 choice, top 2nd rd choice #8: Ridley 2nd: Connor Williams, OT, Texas, he'd be a steal here
