    He did. He gave Parkey the kick. Twice. Parkey proved he could do it and he failed the bears were a 12 win team facing a wild card team at home. if just getting into position for your terrible kicker to make a game winner at the buzzer is all that is being asked of him, I guess the question becomes why are the expectations so low From 5 wins to facing the SB champions. But yes, thats all he needed to do, and giving the Miller gaf just before halftime, Mitch did more than enough. Sure, bail on Mitch. Ostracize Nagy, Pace and start over. Because Parkey is a cuddly teddy bear we all should love.

    He lost them the game and he lost them the first round bye too. Tough season for Parkey. Tough? If you don’t want to practice at Soldier Field maybe you should be replaced. And if you still suck after practicing there maybe you should take up typewriting.

    Nope. Made 3 kicks. Should have made the 4th and deserves blame but this is a collective loss. Defense, offense, ST. Go find some quaaludes

    Mitch had one good drive in the 4th when they got the TD and made a nice pass to Robinson in the 4th to get them in FG range. Outside of that, he was pretty mediocre especially in the first half. 15 points (should have been 18) in a home playoff game just isn't good enough, sorry. Keep saying that, but if Parkey makes the FG, they win. It was a very make-able FG. Therefore, Mitch literally did enough to win. The kicker blew it. Not saying that's the only play that determined the outcome. I'm sure Mitch missed some reads. Amos had a bad penalty, as did Amukamara. The defense didn't get enough pressure and missed some tackles. O'Donnell had a 32 yard punt late. Nagy didn't call a timeout after the Jeffery 1st down, which would have given the Bears 35 more seconds at the end. There were several plays that could have gone differently and made it so the Bears win this game. But if Parkey makes the FG, no other play matters as the Bears would have won. It is reasonable to expect an NFL kicker to make that kick. He hit the horsefeathering upright.

The Bears blew it by giving him anything beyond this year in money. Draft a horsefeathering kicker.     I'm sorry, but you guys are going to have to start putting some evidence with these statements. When was Mitch off target early (talking about legitimately missing passes) that prevented the team from scoring? I'm not at all claiming he was great. Just saying, he in no way prevented them from scoring more points as you and Goony are alluding to. Yuuuup. Mitch played fine and in the clutch, played the game we needed him to.

    Definitely, the Eagles secondary and linebackers suck, if Brees has the time Mitch had, he'll lay 30+ on those clowns next week. No he wont. But NO will win. Mitch did his horsefeathering job.     The offense didn't have huge plays? The offense had to move the ball and score. They did not. Special teams was fine, sans Parkey. Defense was fine. Offense was not here. They did nothing and the QB, Mitch Trubisky, takes the bulk of the blame. He was not good. The QB has to be good to win in the playoffs. Mitch was not. Mitch was good. Parkey fucked that kick. Go home
