If you think you’ve seen it before, you have. It’s Mitch Y1 all over again. Expect a lot of scrambles from Fields cuz he can’t pick up the 2/3 options. Eh, the Browns had that play well covered. The TE broke open after Fields decided to run, but pretty much everyone else was covered and Fields had nothing but green in front of him. I'm not sure that was "can't find 2/3"

I think the point he is trying to make is that Nagy has said, "Fields will start when he's ready and we will all know when that is". He wasn't ready last week with Dalton as an option, so why is he ready this week when Foles is the only other option? The only thing that makes sense is they think Dalton is better than Fields, but Fields is better than Foles. I mean, we know they don't want to waste anymore time on Foles, which is understandable. But a lot of us have questioned why they thought it was OK wasting time on Dalton. Are football coaches allowed to lie to the media?! For me, the concern in this statement is why the horsefeathers is he lying? Either Fields is ready or he isn't. Sure, if Nagy fucks it up it's on him and good riddance. He'll have horsefeathers up (2) 1st round picks and he clearly isn't the guy to continue leading this team. I hope to god that isn't the case for both our sake and Justin Field's, but that's were we are

I don't think the latter 2 really belong. Both are pretty close, IMO, but I don't think quite uniquely good enough for HOF worthiness. Tillman's case will be really helped by the fact that his name is heard every week whenever someone knocks out a fumble. Hester is the pure definition of uniquely good. He should be 1st ballot, IMO. I dont think it would be hilarious, it would be wonderful and give me some idea that the team has at least some intelligence at its upper leadership levels. But it would be a really awkward moment between the Phillips haters and the "Akshually Phillips doesn't matter" guys like me. well, if its Phillips who does get Fields to start, then he clearly does matter and you are wrong sir (I dont know how I feel on that issue, I just want Fields to play)

Russell's pretty great, but check out the start of last season - 14 TDs and 1 INT thru the first three games. Then 26/12 the rest of the way. Very un-MVP numbers. Similar in 2019 - 14 TD and 0 INT thru first 6 games. Then a good but not great 17 TD / 5 INT the rest of the way. well, that all might be true, but all the more reason for the bettors to overreact in favor of Wilson early in the season. should we say Russel Wilson for First Half MVP (?)
