  1. Ahh, the Brian Campbell method
  2. Blech! I am happy it appears the Illini are on their way up, however
  3. Suit yourself! I think it's hilarious Besides, it looks like he finally got his wish, got out of playing for GB after all
  4. One of my favorites:
  5. suspend the idiot already
  6. yea but sec football floats alottttta boats
  7. I've never owned a car that could go that fast, but if I did I sure as hell wouldn't be tanked anywhere near it nor would I have a horsefeathering gun in it
  8. yes, we know that; you're entire being is having an outlook that is entirely hopeless
  9. I won't really worry about Fields play today, but the injury list is concerning If it wasn't for that late throw deep, Fields numbers would have been muuuuch better too
  10. horsefeathers Wisconsin in general
  11. I wonder if Wirtz ends up having to sell
  12. Talk about killing a career horsefeathers Q
  13. what a nightmare
  14. i'm not agreeing with him, i think he's just saying the bears shouldn't keep bringing promising QBs into bad situations and expect it to ever be different The problem is that the offense and defense were polar opposites. The defense is a win-now unit and the offense was and is a complete mess, worse than a bad situation. In 2020 the team sold out on more defense with Quinn, practically no help to the offense except Foles. After teh team limped into the extra playoff spot ownership was too scared to can Pace and Nagy and went with status quo, hoping that the team would catch lightning in a bottle with Mitch out of the way and the promise of Andy Dalton? I can't even believe it as I write it. Such a comedy of errors I mean, yes the owners suck too But yay Arlington (?)
  15. Telling us he has no concern about losing his job. secret extensions?
  16. or better yet, why he feels the losing happening before the lack of scoring. Maybe he should consider it the other way, lack of scoring creating losing streaks?
  17. Its likely the same issue the Cubs had, a very understaffed, small operation. Would it surprise anyone if Halas Hall was like 3 guys and a janitor?
  18. What do you mean by Leno and Fuller? Fuller was benched in Denver, it was the right decision to move on. Leno is a middling overpaid lineman, they got everything they could out of the late draft pick and moved on, it was fine. And Cohen in injured, so, like what are you listing him for? I'm more concerned about guys like Cole Kmet taken so high and not performing at all. Mooney being the supposed new guy not catching easily catchable balls. Yes, Foles was a trash move. getting rid of Leno w/o an obvious replacement. He was overpaid, but that was really only an issue because of the Graham and Foles contracts were sucking up their payroll. Same for Fuller, dumping him w/o someone to replace him and/or a strong market to shop in for a replacement. Once they traded up for Fields (and they basically announced to the world they would trade up for a QB), they severely limited their ability to replace either one. Pace drafted Jenkins, but even that pick was questionable considering his injury history. Doesn't he have a degenerative back issue? Kmet and Mooney are more recent issues I feel like, but sure heap them onto the pile
  19. Everyone was clamoring for an experienced backup QB last year to compete with Mitch, hence Foles. Graham was your leading TD catcher last year and great in the red zone. Cohen’s hurt, how is that Pace’s fault? Leno sucked last year and Jenkins was drafted. Is Peters any worse than Leno? Fuller just got benched in Denver. Eddie Jackson decided to be a wuss and give up on any play that’s not a ball thrown at him. I think the Bears are drafting ok as far as the oline goes. They haven’t spent money on stud FAs, but you can argue they usually don’t get to free agency. Pace sucks and has to go, but I don’t think the ones you mentioned are the biggest issues. The Bears are still recovering from drafting Mitch and a lack of spending on the offense are the bigger issues. They didn't have to *trade for Foles, they got him because Nagy HAD to have him. They coulda waited out FA a bit more and get Dalton that year which would have made a horsefeathers ton more sense ETA: even if Fields is a total miss, you know who you can blame it on? Ryan Pace and Matt Nagy
  20. Now? It's forever QB hell, 7th level
  21. I'm far more sent on ditching Nagy/Pace then Fields. 1)Foles 2)Graham 3) Cohen 4) Leno 5) Fuller 6) o-line I'm far more willing to give another group of coaches/GM a chance with Fields then to continue the horseshit Pace/Nagy have given us
  22. Today sucked, but when 1/2 your team has COVID when you play the SB champs, it was bound to be terrible. Nagys offense just doesnt fit Fields. Maybe he figures it out. Maybe it's both of them.
  23. Yeah, unlike that 1992 team, I don't get the impression we're headed for the SCF
  24. Maybe Hicks will break Brady. That's really our best chance
