Why? Normal people know this, it shouldn't be that hard to figure it out when you have a few yards or less to get

Chris Collingsworth doesn't believe a coach can do anything to have a winning year, winning and losing seasons are completely out of their control

It's almost as if the refs felt not going for it on 4th could only result in bad things for Chicago, so they called Vildor on an iffy-at-best out of bounds. I applaud them

Isn’t Lazor calling the plays? I thought so too. Maybe it's just the system. Fire them all

I agree he won't be back or hasn't been good enough to pine over, but the Bears D hasn't been bad with a terrible secondary. Clearly Desai has a future in the league. By what measure? They're bottom 1/2 of the league

    A little higher Fields

    Ugh

I'd love to see the Bears punch back with a TD first 2nd half series, they'll need it
  12. minnesotacubsfan
They went into a straight zone D. I'm just not convinced about Desai

I don't understand the zone D that series, I smell blood go after Rodgers

Would he have to give up his agent status if he took such a position? I would think so(?)

Trestman is a lawyer? wow Not just a pretty face. eh, his whole podcast is about leadership, a topic that has been handily shoved down my throat to the point I have developed very heavy hesitation and disdain for it. Strong focus from the guy who mightily struggled with it as Bears HC. his guests are solid, however

I mean, this is kinda most of the HCs at any given time. not true: Mike Martz
  25. minnesotacubsfan
yes, this, but also he seemed to be unwilling to try and work a scheme around Jay, and instead wanted his own "type" of QB to work with in his system. What worries me is that he may end up feeling this way about Fields as well. In general, I sour very quickly on scheme-first-players-later type of coaches. Another coach of that ilk was Mike Martz, for instance. also, I dont know why I typed Pollard, I meant Ballard
