    He apparently was pretty good at USD and was a sleeper when he was drafted. Considering he's given me 9 points so far, he's already exceeded my expectations. Yeah I remember wanting the 49ers to take him in the later rounds. The scouting report was he had a good not great arm, was smart and very athletic. Some of the stuff I read on him said if he went to a BCS school he would be a 1st-2nd rd pick.

    Yeah if they end up losing to KC it is time to drop the dead Wade. The season would still be salvageable so you should get rid of Wade and see if Garrett can spark them. Right now Garrett could go to for all I care. I agree but they aren't going to bring in somebody completely new midseason.

    Anderson having himslef a day Yeah I was interested to see if Massaquoi would truly emerge and be the main target. Anderson has to complete a pass first. I would still rather watch that game than the 28-0 blowout I have.

    I really dont know how they can continue throwing him out there every Sunday. Its quite obvious hes not ready for the NFL He also lost a fumble that the announcer criticized about as much as you will see. He didn't pick up an obvious blitz. He then starred down a receiver the entire play and somehow got stripped by Tuck when he didn't see him coming from his NON-blind side.

    If not for a 94th minute goal Argentina would be tied for 5th and Uruguay would be in 4th today. Thats going to be a hell of a match on Wednesday, if Uruguay win they get the 4th spot regardless so they will be going all out. Portugal looks to have locked up a playoff spot as they get Malta on Wednesday. If they win Sweden are eliminated, and if Slovenia beat San Marino they Czech Republic are eliminated. Yeah its going to be crazy in South America. Wish I could watch. Can you imagine a World Cup without Argentina?

    No it was a blog for the U.S. game. When we were tied 1-1 the guy wrote that Mexico is channeling the U.S. as they are down 1-0 in the eleventh minute. Must have just been a real bad blog.

    What? I guess the coverage is very behind. I read like 20 minutes ago Mexico was down 1-0 being scored on in the eleventh minute. The coverage for the U.S. is so crappy all I found was a live blog from NY Times. I looked on ESPN but they have no updates. That blog said Mexico was down 1-0. I guess it was an old live blog.

    hell, I'll take #20 overall. It's just another thing texas will cry about I'll take No. 8. We win, just not in the tourney. Well I guess that's not entirely true. We win in the tourney but its one or two games each time.

    Using that logic we couldn't root for anybody Umm what? Maybe you don't understand logic. The Cardinals are our rival and are the team we should never root for. I don't see how that makes us unable to root for every team.

    People can say whatever they want but anyone who roots for the Cardinals in the playoffs (or any game for that matter) isn't a true Cubs fan in my book. A rival is someone you never root for. You don't see Yankees fans rooting for the Red Sox and visa versa. And for the record my dad is a life long Cardinals fan. He grew up spending his summers in St. Louis with his grandma and cousins. All that is just more reason to root against the Cardinals. I don't want to hear his smack talk.

    yeah it doesn't matter what kind of connection you have, animated stuff is going to slow things down, even if you have a great connection and don't really notice it. i have to agree with IMB's assessment of cubbiebum's avatar. What was that?

    Time for Crabtree to get the Cedric Benson treatment from the team. Actually Singletary has said that he will be treated as anyone else. He tries to treat everyone equally. He also said that through his own holdout when he was a player he can understand the business side of the league. Yeah, Singletary seems like a guy who will play anyone if he thinks that player can help the team. He also seems like the type of coach that if he senses a player is being shunned and that is hurting the team he will step in.

    I don't think I got any exactly right but I got 6/8 Bonus I. Missed HR's between Fontenot and Fukudome and SLG between Ramirez and Bradley. The last one in retrospect was just plain stupid on my part. Didn't know a whole lot about Bradley when the predictions where made.

    I forgot to say the 49ers game this week is also really important because after our bye we have @ Houston and @ Indianapolis. If we are 3-2 we could very well be .500 with the confidence shot. If we are 4-1 we would still be over .500 at 4-3 and at worst tied for the division lead.

    I would say the Bills have a chance to be a spoiler. They have the talent to win against any team. They just have to get the offense figured out. I don't see how that is different from say the Titans needing to figure out their issues. The rest of the bottom teams don't have any chance to figure things out.

    I have my total at a woeful 675. Did well in the Players Stats and Bonus Question I. Not so well in the other two. I wonder if anyone will even break 1000 which is exactly half the point total possible.

    I'm interested in the Colts v. Titans game. Mainly to see if VY gets in and to hope against all logic that the Titans can pull the upset.
