  1. LOL, your reaction made me  So Vance are you trying to say that you are upset with the outcome?
  2. Does ESPN really think Jon Miller and Joe Morgan are good?
  3. That's what I was wondering. Looked like they were going to concede the run to keep the DP in order. You never want to make the 1st out of a inning at home. With your 3-4-5 hitters coming up, down 3.
  4. Brewers would not score in this situation... But you guys probably have the best guy on your team up in this situation
  5. Fred, How do you follow the game? Gameday? Radio? TV? Im just wondering I guess
  6. This your first year following baseball. They do this all the time. Check out the 2006 World Series DVD starring Jeff Weaver. Haha yeah I know, He is in our minor league system. If he was with the Cards. He would be about 4-1 with a Sub 3 ERA right now.
  7. Adam Kennedy.. give me a break. The Cards can come back to earth anytime now.
  8. I have not watched any of the game. (I hate Jon Miller and Joe Morgan). So I don't know if he was safe or not. But to me running on Molina is not the smartest idea.
  9. Over. He was getting squeezed. I really don't care tho right now, ever since YoGa went down im just depressed. We can say the Cards are playing over there heads, but at least they have a closer that doesn't make you want to pull your hair out every time he pitches. Those pitches had been called balls all day. I wasnt watching all day, I had a bad night last night and I was sleeping on and off. It just is funny to mean that a team that is the worst in taking walks(i think), all of a sudden starts walking like crazy in the 9th. Its just frustrating I guess. Well, one of the reasons they hadn't walked earlier is that Sheets was back to throwing strikes. I do think the Astros were taking a lot of pitches, but that seems to be the scouting report on Gagne. He's tough to hit when throwing strikes and getting ahead, it's just he doesn't do that consistently. I think the Astros were taking and Gagne was missing a lot...especially high. And while a lot of the pitches were just above the belt or just off the plate, they were balls. Yeah that does make sense. And one walk for Gagne and its like a bomb exploding (very Turnbow like). :banghead: You would think the one day Sheets gets a hit we would win...
  10. People are saying tomorrow Brett Favre>Braun by the way It was way to big, so I changed it. Thanks for the answer.

So I guess it pays to play in the Central.

  14. Another honest question. Was Rich Hill as bad as his box score looked?
  15. I might as well say it. If the Cubs take the lead, Kerry Wood is on my Fantasy Team
  16. Corey Hart Adam Dunn (Not this year but in the past) Carlos Beltran Carlos Lee Agreed.
  17. Does anyone else scare you more than Albert Pujols? (as a brewer fan, Aramis is 1-B)
  18. Wood will strike out Ankiel. Pujols will single. Glaus DP.
  19. Honest question? Honest answer: HBP on hand/wrist. He went back out there for a bit, but they took him out later due to it. It didn't look good at the time, but he's sitting in the dugout chatting it up with Lou, so who knows. Oh my god, I did not even know that. I just realized the game was on WGN and I turned in on and saw Fontenot up. I was confused. Sorry if that sounded wrong on my part.
  20. D Lee looked safe to me, look like he got his foot in.
  21. That was a cluth homer from Soriano. Why was Aramis taken out of the game?
  22. We do have the best pitcher. We do have the best young hitters. But we have a bad manager. And you can't play the pirates every game of the year. You will have to play us also, And when the Brewers play the Cubs. Your in trouble  No we really aren't. Here is the rub. You guys treat it like your world series. We treat it like 3 games out of 162. We don't bring back our starting pitcher who is always hurt and let him throw 120 plus pitches. We don't leave in our best pitcher, yeah newsflash smart guy Sheets isn't even the best on your team, in after he hurts his knee to win a game in april. But, yeah we are so screwed when we have to play you. I guess it is a good thing we won't have to play you when we get to the playoffs again. We play every game against you like its our world series? :rotfl: :rotfl: His knee is not even swelled up. He is fine. And its May. Yeah you do, I hope his leg is ok. He is a good young pitcher and fun to watch. i would hate to see him get Mark Priored by Ned Yost. And May or April it doesn't matter. What the hell did you have to gain from it? Oh that's right you have to win this huge series in April-May. Wasn't Prior's problems his Shoulder and Arm? Gallardo's was his knee. And his other Knee on top of that. He didn't get hurt that bad and you want him to get put on the DL for 2 months. Prior also had to have a slight knee surgery. No I never said anything about him going on the DL. I would have pulled him out of a game in april to run tests though. But, then again this was a big game for you guys that you had to have. Run tests on a guy walking around and when he says he is fine? If you kid said his nose was running, you would make him go to his room for 2 weeks. Let's say you are right on this one, but you aren't. Explain Sheets throwing 120 pitches his first night back after missing two weeks. Was it because it was a game you had to have in April? I am right. It was 108 pitches. I didn't agree with it completly but it was only the 4th inning and he had less then 100 pitches. And our bullpen has been over worked. So risk the best pitcher in the NL central or some crap bullpen arm you can send down a day later. You know cause you have 14 pitchers. This is why we will be in the playoffs again while you guys cry about how lucky we are again. Risk your talented injury prone pitcher in a game in april because god forbid Turnbow get overworked. You obviously do not get it. You PLAY TO WIN THE GAME. Every game matters.
