  1. The past few years, the White Sox have pulled way too many players off the scrap heap and made stars out of them. Im not saying, Im just saying. Like who? I wouldn't say Linebrink was off the scrap heap either. Gavin Floyd, Carlos Quentin Carlos Quentin was not picked up off the scrap heap. I still would rather have Chris Young. Good thing they didn't trade Young for him :-"
  2. Watching Scott Linebrink pitch makes me so mad as a Brewer fan. And Alexi has a cannon
  3. Is he there by himself? That'd be hilarious If I had seats that close, I would go by myself
  4. Ok couple things... 1. Michael Beasley is the best player in the draft 2. Rose is also very talented so its a win/win for Bulls fans. 3. I thought Milwaukee had a good night with Joe Alexander and trading for Richard Jefferson. 4. Minnesota traded away OJ Mayo.. unbelivable.
  5. Vance changed his avatar because I said I liked it :( Or because he has a obsession? :-"
  6. wtf? It would appear that he thinks everything on the site must be baseball related ot it's out of line. Which, if you pay attention, is clearly the case. I believe I'm also the 1st person to ever have their kid in their avatar. (Or maybe not if you check the game thread starter from the 4 before today) no. it's just God awful to look at. period... A little late but.. Seriously? Grow up
  7. Worst number 3 hitter in baseball, Orlando Hudson or Melvin Mora?
  8. your opinion is wrong. No, he is not wrong. I also like it. It's suppose to drive other fan's crazy. It's a perfect homer announcer call.
  9. Vance I keep forgetting to tell you how much I love your avatar. I hate the Cowboys (Packers baby). But that thing is awesome.
  10. what did he say about Morrison and Redick when they were drafted? Redick needs to get the hell out of Orlando. He has no future on that team. I think he could become a decent role player, but it has to be the right situation. I agree
  11. So is Yost dliberately trying to destroy his arm so nobody else wants him in the offseason? Sheets threw only 106 pitches so im not sure how that is "destroying his arm". Also, brewersbrewers no need to come in here and celebrate like that, you can be happy but no need to celebrate in at a cubs website.
  12. Ruth at the age of 19 was legally adopted by the owner of the Baltimore Orioles Jack Dunn, and everyone called him "Jack's newest babe". The nickname stuck.
  13. What? 18.2 ppg 13 rpg 3 apg Plus playing great d, isn't exactly "laying an egg". The Truth just played better. I should clarify that I meant on the offensive end. Defensively (sans the cheap fouls in Game 5) and rebounding-wise he was great but if you don't get the points in the finals, rightly or wrongly, you're not winning the MVP. And actually, looking it up, he was really bad in the first three games before kind of making up for it in the last three games. The first game he was below average, Games 2 and 3 he was horrendous (especially Game 3), Games 4 and 5 he was average and Game 6 he was solid. Look at his shooting percentages: 53.9 in the regular season, 48.4 against Atlanta, .545 against Cleveland, .525 against Detroit, .402 against the Lakers. And it's not as if the Lakers are known as a defensive team either. He also shot worse from the free throw line against the Lakers than he did in any other round or in the regular season, though he did only take 18 free throws. So he didn't completely lay an egg, but he was well below average on the offensive end. Strictly going by ppg can be deceptive. If we're going by that alone, Kobe had a pretty good offensive series at 26.4 ppg. But in reality, he pretty much stunk offensively. Yeah I can see your point, but KG was never really a offensive powerhouse, but I can see your point with Kobe also. My bad

  15. We hit 5 homers and only scored 7 runs ](*,)
  16. Sure it was against the Lakers but when one of my predictions comes right, Im happy
  17. Did he say to Michelle Tafoya..... "You sure do look good tonight, girl." I heard it
  18. That was something special right there
  19. Congrats Boston, best team in the NBA since day 1 and they proved it tonight. The better team won, no doubt about it. They are going to be partying in Boston again tonight.

  21. AL games are long and boring. Just get rid of the DH and everything will be fine.
