  1. Maybe, but the AFC has the best team. Who would that be? Titans?
  2. NFC > AFC Anyone with me? EDIT: Maybe im going overboard. But I think they are basically even.
  3. I have Steven Jackson, LenDale White and Lee Evans on my team. My team has done nothign all year, besides Evans and Brees. Brees is crapping his pants but thank god Jackson is remembering he is good.
  4. They do everyweek. Carolina has the 2nd best pass defensive in the league. Add in the fact that NO cant run. Bad match up for the Saints.
  5. Tampa's good?
  6. Carolina's D is good
  7. According to Tom H. Brenly is the front runner. Im not sure I like this. http://blogs.jsonline.com/brewers/archive/2008/10/19/handicapping-the-candidates.aspx
  8. Brad Johnson 5-15, 64 yards and a INT.
  9. Wow.. Nice call Fred
  10. Remember in the pre season when everyone was on the Vikings to win the NFC and to make it to the superbowl and I was there telling everyone to stop drinking the kool aid? Im not one to brag.. BUT...
  11. Im so glad I drafted him
  12. Brad Johnson is bad.
  13. Hang onto the ball Shockey.
  14. Geez Old Kyle kinda has a cannon.
  15. The Saints need a kicker
  16. About time you get in the endzone Jackson.
  17. Someone needs to get Vance and get him to step away from the ledge.
  18. I have never said this, but damn Orton looked good.
  19. Santana pitched before this year in the AL, which everyone can agree is the harder league to pitch in. Santana's avg. over the last 5 years. 2.82 ERA 238 K's 1.022 WHIP Since becoming a full time starter, Santana has not had a ERA over 3.33. He guarentees you 30 starts a year. Santana is the best pitcher in baseball. Its not a rip of Jake the Great its just.. Its Johan. And I know you are a stat geek or whatever so don't freak out me please.
  20. Drew Brees is the best QB in the league right now. Rivers has more yards per pass attempt, more touchdowns, and less interceptions. How is Brees better? Brees basically matches Rivers in everything. Brees has more yards. Brees has done all this without Colston and Shockey. Rivers still has LT, Gates, Chambers, Jackson around him. Brees these past weeks had... David Patten, Billy Miller, and Lance Moore. Brees has more yards because he's thrown the ball 60 more times. Plus, as stated by dew, the saints probably throw the ball downfield more often. LT has not been a weapon this year, he's averaged 3.7 ypc, he's been hurt. Chambers was out last week. To be honest, I know little about the Saints receiving corps. But I do know that Reggie Bush has 361 yards receiving and I don't think those are post routes, I believe they are "drop the ball off to Reggie and see what happens" routes. I'm not saying Brees is bad at all; I think he's one of the top QBs. But he hasn't been better than Rivers. Ok lets me honest here. I don't really like Phillip Rivers. I think he is a D-Bag. I knew that he was having a very good year, and then I looked it up to be sure and his numbers were even better then I thought. It basically killed every argument I had. (Besides the yards, and yes I know they the throw the ball 102402 times a game. I needed something tho). However, I know LT has been hurt and struggling, that still is not making teams not try to stop him. He is still a threat to the defense. I guarentee teams still try to stop LT before they try to stop Rivers. Again, I didn't realize he was having that good of a year, Im just saying I would still take Drew Brees right now. It's OK. You think Carlos Lee for Podsednik was a good trade for the white sox. Rationality is only good but for so long. I look numbers up before I start shooting off at the mouth, maybe you should try it? Don't say a guy is a "D-Bag" (for what reason?) and he sucks without having any knowledge about the situation. If the whole fantasy football world knows that LT is hurt and less productive, I'm fairly positive opposing NFL defensive coordinators know this as well and are factoring that into their game plan. I'm not trying to be an ass, just don't try to make me look like an idiot without any support behind your statements. And the fact you'd still take Drew Brees is irrelevant. He's been the less productive QB this year. HAHA ok dude, you also said Rivers should be the MVP, what does that say? To say I don't know any stats is a pretty poor judgment on your part. Im not trying to make you look like a idiot. You want a stat? Ok here.. Comp. % Drew Brees - 71.0 Philip Rivers - 61.8 Brees basically matches every single stat Rivers can throw out.. TD's Rivers - 14 Brees - 12 Y/A Rivers - 9.0 Brees - 8.9 QB Rating Rivers - 109.4 Brees - 105.0 YPG Brees - 333.2 Rivers - 248.2 Teams don't try to stop Rivers like they do Drew Brees. And if you honestly think that teams go at Brees like they do Rivers you are joking yourself. Brees has no running game, every team they play know that Brees is going to be throwing the ball. And they still can't stop him. Rivers still can turn around and hand it off to LT, I know he has been hurt but again, teams still load up the box to stop him. Brees also has been putting up these numbers with one of the best WR in the league and without Shockey. So for you to say Brees has been a less productive QB this year is pretty funny. Everyone who is not a Charger fan would agree. And how is Rivers a D-Bag? How is he not a D-Bag should of been the question. Arguing with Colt fans, yelling at Jay Cutler. And he is cocky for a guy who has not done anything in the league.

  22. http://www.cnbc.com/id/27217645 Hey look Cowboys are dominating the jersey sales, im shocked.
  23. 3-0-0 :D
  24. Oh trust me, I don't expect the Brewers to get Peavy. I just get giddy like a little school girl anytime we are mentioned.
  25. Of course one week I get the game in Carbondale, I'll be on the road driving back here. Ugh. Oh well, Larrivee on the radio should be solid. Interesting about Ty Law. We could always use the depth at CB. Tramon Williams has been more than solid filling in for Harris, but if we could get Law, our corner depth would be deadly with the return of Harris in the next few games. Harris, Woodson,Williams and Law would make me smile. And with Harris being out it has been a great experiance for Tramon to start. Its going to make him better when he goes back to being a nickle back.
