his lack of effort will hirt us. he did the same thing on his homer. it was two feet into the basket and he was jogging like it was on sheffield. it's little things that become bad habits. we're gonna be in an important game and he's gonna think he homered and be jogging and end up getting thrown out at second. it's the first thing you're taught as a kid...hustle out of the box.

is it just me or has lee had a lot of balls about two to three inches off the plate outside called as strikes against him lately. i think the league might be trying to even up the game for everyone else against him. as i say that he slams one out. point proven

Brenly was kind of calling him out yesterday also. i get a hint that Bob doesnt care to much for Froeming. I dont blame him, Froeming comes off as a know it all, and a prick. His fat ass should have moved a little to get in position on that HR. i hate froeming, always have. you know he and brenly had some run ins here and there cuz during the pregame he said mlb needs to address froeming initiating contact with lou repeatedly. several call outs of the fat skunk

why? That's the first thing I thought of when that happened. I always referred to that type of hit as the "Baltimore Chop" i just think it's funny because the baltimore chop was done intentionally I see. Ya it was done intentionally. In Baltimore, John McGraw used to make sure that the groundskeepers kept the area in front of the plate very solid so his guys could do it. used to actually pack clay in the dirt to make it harder. i lived in bmore for 3 years about 4 blocks from camden yards. theres a cool baltimore sports museum down there and there's a section on the baltimore chop
