Really? I think Amaro is stupid enough to think that buying a really fast computer could check off his lack of analytical knowledge. i dont think amaro cares what anything things about his team's analytical knowledge I don't think he would be the one making the decision. well the guys who would spend 500,000k on a computer are not the guys who are going to continue to employ amaro, how about that. it would be like buying a $3,000 laptop when you can't afford a 19 dollar mlbtv subscription Shots fired

When Juan Pierre was acquired I had very little baseball knowledge under my belt beyond that of what typical meatballs pay attention to, and considering Juan Pierre was from my alma mater, when the news broke that the Cubs acquired him I jumped for joy because "We finally got a lead off guy who can steal bases and get hits!" Ugh.

I have gotten two authentic Cubs jerseys in my lifetime. Sammy Sosa when I was in high school, and Aramis Ramirez when I was in college. I still wear the Aramis jersey on big Cubs games, few and far between that they have been over the last few years. If Arrieta wasn't a mirage he should be there next season. Also Bryant should hit that list pretty early. Like May or something.

Our entire starting lineup goes 1-8 in MVP voting Our rookies go 1-3 in ROTY voting Our entire bullpen goes like 1-6 in Rolaids Relief Man of the Year voting Our entire bench goes 1-6 in The Daryle aWard Bench Man of the Year award I just made up The Cubs miss out on a wild card spot by losing 1-0 on a 1 hit CG loss by Jon Lester who gives up a solo home run to Pete Kozma while the Cubs get a 12 hit shutout thrown by Tim Cooney in the final game of the season.
