  1. There would be zero excuse for the cubs not to light up Kendrick so this is a pleasing game.
  2. I was looking forward to our third day being over .500 in the last 4 years
  3. Adrian Beltre hit a home run today from his knees. Pretty impressive, but the head touching hijinx were, as usual, hilarious to watch: http://m.mlb.com/video/topic/0/v66508283/texoak-beltre-leads-off-7th-with-solo-shot
  4. Forbes released their MLB valuations. Cubs are ranked 5th at $1.8 billion http://www.forbes.com/mlb-valuations/list/ The Cardinals are ranked 6th at $1.4 billion. Good thing they qualify for those competitive balance picks because they're such a small market team.

  8. baez is allowed to dong fight at coors iirc he already has 3 career HR there lol He'll never have another lol over/under 40%? That's cheating
  9. How did poor conditions lead to a stress fracture on his elbow? Did he slip and fall on it or something?
  10. I will sign up as well. Hopefully I don't have to re-use my Edwin Jackson Punch-Out joke
  11. I'll take those odds
  12. Yeah - all three were top 5 round draft picks. stupid brewers and their stupid [expletive] mound for ruining conway (am i remembering that right?) Don't even remember Conway. Did he have a bad leg injury last year or something?
  13. Yeah the rules limiting both teams to five hits total are the best. lol, yeah this was more about a pitcher's duel than pace of play. The Tigers/Twins game today was an 11-0 blowout and it lasted 3 hours 9 minutes. But that still seems really fast for an 11-0 game....that's one minute over last years average game length. Touché. We'll still need a few more weeks to really tell a difference. There were a few 3:10 + games yesterday, but Monday there were a lot of games less than 3 hours.

  16. You'd be wrong. It's 1. Well, above .500 anyways. B-R doesn't show @ .500 Games spent over .500 since 2010: 2

  18. what is it? he said over under on it lasting 3 years over under of what? Let's do it this way... Let's go with 40%
  19. He's asking what the over/under is.
  20. Matt Sczcur, elite power hitting prospect, in at LF
