    I turned the game on when it was already 2-1. I can't believe England mounted enough pressure to even draw a foul. They were dreadful. According to Swedish news site Aftonbladet 99.8% of Iceland's (remaining) population watched the game. That means that about 650 individuals weren't. :lol:

    We had to cancel volleyball practice today because of the low turnout. :( Moving those who did bother to turn up to the village pub to watch Belgium v Sweden made up for the disappointment. :wink: I know where I'll be on Sunday for the Hungary game. 8-)

    So Belgium went from depressed to euphoric in 90 minutes yesterday. I'm guessing the beer consumption correlated quite well ;-) I'm no expert on US soccer players; I was just wondering who Argentina had left out that could fit the reference. As the plural was used ("dudes"), the author must have had at least one more in mind; :scratch:

    Living abroad, I can only watch games via the internet on MLB.TV and am very pleased with the experience :-)
