  1. man, the penalties leading to points for MIN and taking points off the board for Chicago... seen this movie before
  2. Dallman dominated on two straight snaps
  3. questionable call
  4. bad call, worse announcing
  5. nice play by Stevenson
  6. that's just a bad call... he got all ball
  7. pretty sure he's not touched before Sewell punches the ball, and the announcers aren't even considering it
  8. DA's defense is killing it
  9. Nice use of motion to get OZ open
  10. Not on the same page there Edit: or just a terrible throw. Yikes, Caleb
  11. DL making JJ work
  12. I'm sure it's heavily weighted toward recruiting rankings at this time of year, and recruiting rankings are often garbage. Gabe Jacas was a no name 3 star committed to Tulane before flipping to Illinois (was also pursued by Temnessee, iirc) and is now an All-American Candidate. He's still counted as a 3 star in the formulas that consider recruiting rankings, which clearly shortchanges his talent. I'm sure it also doesn't account for coaching, and Bielema has shown that he's a darn good one, while coaches like Manny Diaz (Ron Zook's spiritual successor) have shown they'll find ways to lose games
  13. honestly would have rather seen Alcantara there
  14. Absolutely dominant 2H performance from Illinois
  15. Zaidman "It drops in down the LF line and will roll.... over the wall, for a ground rule double." What a clown
  16. at this point, it's just make it to October healthy and hope the bats can catch fire for a month or so and the pitching can hold up
  17. Right now, Horton being limited to 75ish pitches is working well. They're going to make the playoffs, keep those high stress innings down for him.
  18. NSBB game thread tradition dictates that it says Brewers til they lose now, right?
