the Bulls being mediocre is good enough for a big FA to come here. An improving Noah/Rose plus Deng is enough for any top tier FA to think that their star power will make this a contender

I like a lot of the moves they've made the last few years. They didn't [expletive] up the Strasburg signing and they've lured some mid-level FA's to the team. Too bad they couldn't land Orlando Hudson. -

I watched the 8th inning for the first time since 2003. It was still painful. My son who is now 10 watched it with me. He didnt realize how close the Cubs were to making he WS. Man... every time I am reminded of that game I cringe. I've never seen it. I was working that night, saw the highlights, but that's it. Not sure I ever will

In terms of endowment they are No. 1 in the country. That is according to wikipedia which lists the official PDF as the source and has a link to the official document. In terms of academic reputation and prestige Northwestern I would say is easily the best. I wasn't arguing with you -

you're doing it wrong. that illinois team shot almost 50% from the floor. so chuckers are people who take a ton of 3's, but don't make them. except when you complain that they're chuckers, which only happens when they're taking a ton of 3's and making them. or something
