just about every one of Marshall's stats is worse as a starter than a reliever. K/9, K/BB, OpOPS, ERA, WHIP.... But the question isn't whether he's better as a reliever or a starter. The question is whether he can be at least acceptable as a starter if called upon and it's likely that he would be. Sean Marshall having to get starts isn't the end of the world by any stretch of the imagination. depends on how long he has to be going out there. is Lilly really only out for a month? can Wells keep from falling off a cliff? If we're suddenly at a place where Marshall is getting 20+ starts, that wouldn't be good
