RPI is trash, but you can definitely game it without playing Big 6 teams. it's total trash, and the selection committee claims they don't use it (which is BS, because they have to compare a bunch of schedules that have no similarities).
the more success the mid-majors have, the less the Big 6 will schedule them during the regular season, which will continue to artificially lower the mid-majors' RPI
K now that's a personal attack you guys really can be jerks at times....I was just trying to make a General Fantasy Sports thread and you aren't stopping ha how did I miss the original thread? link me up
Can someone explain to me why this is a good idea? It's meant in case of a rainout/snowout of Opening Day games... I guess I can see the point if it's because of all the festivities and such. that's fine if you're opening in Chicago, but in Atlanta, I'll take my chances on decent weather
in basketball, every single school in the NCAA splits the earnings evenly, regardless of who wins (or even makes the tournament). The reason the bowl games can get away with giving millions to single schools is because the NCAA doesn't sanction the BCS. There IS no NCAA championship in football
Every cloud has a silver lining, I suppose. Marshall is a huge stud. If he was with any other organization he'd have had at least one 15-win season by now. LOLOL
