The sad thing about that run differential is that if you subtract the 11 run drubbing on Opening Day, the Cubs are -3 by 6 games under .500. That's some bad luck. (Even WITH that first game, the cubs are playing 2 games under their pythag)

It's less about giving up on the team and more about not scheduling my day around the game. If it's on and I'm home, I'll watch, but unlike, say, 2007 or 2003, I'm not stopping my life to catch every inning
